The opinions or writings of a freemason are not a tangible example or representation of freemasonry, as each individual member are entitled to their own opinions. Many masons dont even like Manly Hall. Personally, I do, as his spiritual understandings are profound.

Here's from Albert Pike, undeniably one of the most influential masons of all-time in his book 'Morals & Dogma': "The Apocalypse is, to those who receive the nineteenth Degree, the Apothesis of that Sublime Faith which aspires to God alone, and despises all the pomps and works of Lucifer. LUCIFER, the Lightbearer! Strange and mysterious name to give to the Spirit of Darkness! Lucifer, the Son of the Morning! Is it he who bears the Light, and with its splendors intolerable blinds feeble, sensual or selfish Souls? Doubt it not!" (p. 246). Manly P. Hall was also labeled the "freemason of the century" by the Sottish Rite Journal due to his practice of the "royal art" (witchcraft). @TheProtonC That book was written more than thirty years BEFORE he became a Mason.
Also, you seem to be of the mind that words may only have one meaning or interpretation. This is not so. He was using the word "Lucifer" in another sense than the one you immediately leapt to. Lucifer can also mean "light", the literal translation from the Latin, meaning "light bringer" and also alludes to the planet Venus, as it heralds the rising of the sun. And in Freemasonry, "light" means "knowledge" (usually, specifically about Freemasony)....so you see, he wasn't interested in devilry at all.

Freemasonry is a universal religion. Many paths to God. Purification by good works. The chief cornerstone that you speak of is Christ Jesus.
Joh 14:6 KJV Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Also Jesus Christ The Lord warns people about the many ways(Universalism) to God.

Freemasonry is not a religion and therefore does not claim to provide salvation of any sort.
Freemasonry is a code of morality, which is illustrated through ceremony and ancient symbols. Much of the symbolism comes directly from the holy bible. And nearly all of freemasonry is derived from the building of king Solomon's temple found in the book of kings. During ones degree ceremonies a holy bible is upon the altar on which all oaths are taken (the same as in court). And in most lodges the initiate is given the bible as a gift and signs his name and the date in the cover. And yes, an old king james bible is used. Absolutely nothing is changed or altered scripturally.
Freemasonry is a brotherhood of good men who wish to become better people within their society and live lives that are beneficial to their communities.

Pagan deities? The pollution of the priests in the temple? Baal worship, the queen of heaven and Molech. Is not the rising of Hiram Abiff not a false resurrection and rightly called necromancy? Taking
Blood oaths unto death is that not a direct contradiction to the teachings of The Lord Jesus Christ. Are not the vows to be a shriner invoked in the name of allah and muhammad? It seems to me I know more about your secret cult religion of hell than you do!
Repent! Call on the name of Jesus to be saved.
