    A cross is a straight punch with the power hand. If you stand orthodox, then you would throw a jab with your left which is basically a straight extension of your left arm, and you would throw a right cross which is a twisting of the entire body to propel the right hand forward in a straight line. A jab/cross combination is a left/right straigh punch combo. I hope this clears up any confusion.

      Yeah in his 2nd fight with Chael leading up to it, Chael was talking crazy $hit about Brazil, Andersons family, how overrated Anderson is & how he’s gonna beat Anderson’s Brazilian @$$ for 25 minutes this time instead of 24 like the first fight. He talked so much that he pissed a lot of the Brazilians off like Wanderlei Silva who wanted to murder Chael with an axe. But Chael made it work once so he upped the ante the second fight. Well after Chaels campaign of trying to make every Brazilian hate him, they released the promo for the fight and Chael is on the promo and once again he’s saying he’s gonna leave the arena after the fight in a limo with his shiny new belt and and Anderson’s wife, while Anderson will leave in an ambulance with so many knots on his head the local Boy Scouts couldn’t untie them. Well then they give Anderson the chance to respond and he’s so pissed by that point his best insult he could muster was “Chael smells like a bear!” & paired with his high pitched voice you didn’t know whether to laugh or be impressed that Anderson has probably rolled with a bear or two on the mat and was probably dead serious but it was a wtf moment for sure.

    I think Silva is an extremely talented fighter. I also believe that Silva was playing head games with Griffin while the fight was going on. Right off the bat it seemed like Griffin's head wasn't in the fight and Silva used that to his advantage and toyed with Griffin, knowing Griffin has the heart of a lion and that it was throw Griffin off his game.
    Smart win for Silva.
    The rematch is going to be Epic in my opinion.

    I didnt say Forest is physically tough MMA, but is definitely physically tougher than Silva.
    Now I don't hate Silva at all I just hate injustice.
    When somebody for example say that Fedor is overrated.
    Fedor who fought BEST OF BEST his entire career, all sorts of opponents, and dominated/TKO/KO/Sub EVERY SINGLE ONE of them + is the most humble person you could ever meet.
    But someone who clearly lost few times and was dominated the hell out many times, is suddenly best middleweight in the world?

Weidman deserves the title shot, as well as Bisping, they should fight to decide who will face Anderson.

    Anything that anyone says is as pointless as freaking out at a hockey player for missing a goal. At this level of fighting anything can happen. You don't need people telling you what you did wrong; you know what happened. Just know that you still have fans and get back to training.

    It doesn't matter bro, he lost 2 times nobody gets killed MMA, they get defeated and that's what counts, Also if you go see the documentary "Like Water" in there you see that Silva got hurt a week before the fight and in there you can see Anderson Silva promising Big Nog a submission, Nog says, I want you to knock him out, Silva responds, no! I'll submit him for you, but it doesn't matter now, Sonnen had 2 chances, lost on both. If he were the better fighter he would have WON.

  • @hugoooobr
    @hugoooobr 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm no judging him because of one fight, I'm saying that if he fought like that, he is not as constant as a guy should be to beat Anderson. He's not even close to Anderson's level, actually, only Fedor, Jones and Aldo were/are on his level, maybe JDS too. Do you know what? I will remember to reply you again once Weidman faces Anderson, it will be priceless to read what you have to say. It's very easy for you say whatever you want, before they fight. Until then, the facts speak for Anderson.

    I honestly believe Forrest can beat Anderson Silva. If he's in the right state of mind, he trains right, and turns into the champion Forrest who beat Rampage, he can beat Anderson Silva. Read his book "Got Fight?", Forrest is a pure warrior, an absolute man. He can do anything.

    Ah, alright. Thanks for clarifying. He might not have the one punch knockout power of those guys, but I think he's more dangerous simply because he throws more intricate combinations. This fight could be a LOT of fun standing, can't wait to see the gameplan Forrest employs.

  • @SkittlesnLexi
    @SkittlesnLexi 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    Technical aspects of UFC? Well technically the only thing that's considered cheating is taking steroids. Silva doesn't cheat, he's very calculated in how he fights. He watches his opponents then strikes at the most opportune time. That's not cheating.

    While I do give Forrest a legitimate chance to win this fight, I think comparing the striking of Anderson to Rampage and Rashad isn't quite fair. Silva's striking is much more diverse on a technical level, he has the speed, accuracy, and simply more tools than both of those guys on the feet.

  • @shawkme
    @shawkme 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    Sonnen was acquitted from the testosterone use BUT that doesn't mean he didn't have the advantage over Silva, for all we know he could have taken it days prior to their first fight, which is most likely the case. Their second fight because of all the controversy Sonnen, was monitored by the Nevada State Athletic Commission and he had to stop taking injections at a certain date prior to their recent fight and to be sure he did, he was given a blood test right after, just to clear things up.
