Great hunt! Have been wondering about the XP DEUS 2.
Nice vid.. But I probably will use for nuggets the elliptical coil and go from 74 to 81 khz freq. For the nuggets, I think that'll change everithing for the deus

Very good video. I’m using the Deus 2 more and mor but not in the gold fields yet. Would probably stick with 6000 anyway but I like to see the performance
Yes I’ll stick with the six for gold hands down. But the ID on the Deus was helpful. It does Handel the hot rocks pretty good. Lol

I have been pretty disappointed with Deus 2 Goldfield. It is definitely not very sensitive to smaller nuggets. Anything below .3 grams or so seems to have a steep, abrupt sensitivity drop-off. I started using Deus 2 Mono for use with my GPX 6000 similar to how you are using it. I setup Deus 2 Mono with disc. at -6.4, PWM Pitch Tones, Notch OFF, Silencer 0 or 1 depending on ground noise, Sensitivity 95, Frequency 40 to 45 kHz, Iron Volume optional, Reactivity 2 to 3 depending on mineralization, Audio Response 3 or 4 depending on mineralization, Threshold 0 to 8 to help smooth out ground noise if there is any. That setup is very similar to the original Deus/ORX Gold modes and has very similar results and is twice as sensitive on smaller gold than Deus 2 Goldfield. Hopefully XP will do a Deus 2 Goldfield update soon to help it be more sensitive to the little bits.....
I understand completely. Nothing will replace the 6000 that’s for sure. It does do good in hot rocks and in parks it went deeper than the nox but for gold. No way.

i'd be happy with 6 pieces. you gonna do deus II vs gold monster. ??? when you learn it.
Gold monster is more sensitive to gold but has a hard time with hot rocks.
I’d get blasted by folks if I did that! Lol.

I love the 800. Think Deus has better functions and handles better.

It uses radio freq so no delay. It has a lot of functions that I’m still playing with.
