I don’t think there is such a thing as a boring Robot video. I was rapt throughout! I have had to replace head bearings on my GTS. I used a builders bucket under the floor. It lifted it enough to drop the column through the frame tube. Thanks Robot.
Is it possible to undo the top bearing not to drop the stem enough to repack the upper and lower bearings with grease without having to remove the brake hose and speed sensor. If so it would make this a 30 minute job just to grease the bearings. Obviously if you needed to change them its a stem out job but it would be good to know if they can be repacked with grease without dropping the stem completely out.
Do I need to replace my front fender? Yes. Will I attempt it after watching this clip? No. If only I had a garage of my own! Alway always something new to be learned from watching Robot. This clip is Designer approved. 🛵❤️🤖
hello- you show two brass crush washers and then there are two thinner white metal washers that you don't have in the parts list . What are these ? Thanks -
This was a great vid. I have to change my upper and lower steering bearings (2007 GTS). Thanks for being so comprehensive. I’ll be calling scooter west soon.
you prolly dont give a damn but does anybody know of a method to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot my login password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Beckett Zakai I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Hello my friend ... do you know about Gilera Nexus 300 ? I want to change fork oil . how can I get to the top of the fork to unlooses the Helen bolt plug [ 601312 sn ]
couldn't find the banjo robot mentioned on my 2012 GTS - it looks like a continuous brake line from the front caliper to the master cylinder! I'm trying to drop my forks, so I can respray the stone chipped area at the bottom of the from legshield, and with the fork in place it's a lot harder!
greeting from HK!!!! i really enjoyed the video, thank you for your great effort and kindness to share all these on internet. i can't wait to do it myself. i am just wondering if there is a way to remove the front fender without removing the fork? just removing the fork seems a bit more complicated and i just want to install an extension part on the front fender....
You must drop the fork to completely remove the fender. You might be able to install that without removing the fender: th-cam.com/video/ZUFymECCrDk/w-d-xo.html
You have necessarily to remove the fork for removing just the fender or you can also extract it by removing the wheel and the caliper then sliding it down?
Bloody hell, bought a Elettrica 70 with some fall damage to the body and front fender. Since its the Gray Chrome color (cant really be painted in sections) I wanted to Vinil Wrap it. Everything is apart now, except the front fork and its a hell of a job. Still going to do it, I want it to match my 1995 BMW M3 GT which is British Racing Green

Great video but you need to replace your plastic parts for sure in the way you treat them 😅 pointing on to them with the sharp end of a screwdriver, laying the fender on the ground with the paint job down without a towel or anything underneath. Wouldn’t leave my brand new scooter in this workshop 😅
2,3 Hours says Robot to do this job. Lol, I guess he is talking of someone who has done it several 100 times to begin with. Has a fully furnished workshop & all the "right" tools. For us minions, if we are to undertake anything like this on a sidewalk, it is likely to be 10-12 hours. A lot of the time wrestling to get something off or on :). I hope I dont have to replace a broken fender.

I needed this exact post. Thank you so much. I ordered a fender from you a while back and I was hesitant to put it on.
Glad I could help!
Grantland Gamster Good luck. I love working on my scooter and bikes. Not as much fun as riding them. But I come away knowing my machines better
My word. All of that just to get rid of a couple of reflectors. I guess the heart wants what the heart wants :)

why do you disconnect the brake tube from Abs ecu e not from the brake caliper? same for the speed sensor

That banjo bolt behind the front panel is for ABS models only (2015 onwards).

It won’t slide down the fork. That might just be why he Robot demoed it this way!

All three of my screws have come loose and are gone. RATTLE! So I just need to take all the trim off and reattach. I might just zip strips....
Horrendous amount of work just to change the fender surly they could come up with a better design thumbs down to Vespa
This is for US market. DOT wants these reflectors. Not Vespa.
I just came here to learn how to adjust my steering
