Still the craziest tidbit about the High Mega Cannon is that it has 1/5 the power output of a colony laser. Which is still straight up nuts for a mobile suit to have built into it.

For once in like the history of forever a newer rendition actually either holds a candle, or even surpasses the alpha games.
ZZ gundam is one of my fav Gundam unit. After absent from SRW about ten years... SRW V bring him back!!!
The ZZ in SRW V is the best it's ever been
heavybassX and that arrangement of Silent Voice is so on point, I got chills
I was so happy that V makes the ZZ a smash-hit top-tier unit like it really should be. I think V is the first time that SRW's mechanics reflect how stupidly overtuned the Double Zeta really was, and as a bonus they completely nailed the animations. The Hyper Mega Cannon attack especially blows me away, it may be just about the best Banpresto has ever rendered the "Giant death ray" style of attack which all too often comes across as boring.

Looking at the Alpha 3's version makes me wonder why they don't give ZZ a Open Get like skill?

Kind of curious why High Mega Cannon is a only a map attack from SRT 3 to SRT Impact. Is it for game balance or something?
Also, is there really no concept of High Mega Cannon Full Power before SRT Alpha 2 just like Zeta NT attacks?
And i kind of miss the Double Mega Lanucher combination attack from SRT MX.
BrotherMicheal it wasn't just the High Mega Cannon. A lot of 'Buster Beam' attacks from the old SRW were MAP only. Which made a lot of units kinda useless against bosses. It was after SRWR that they rectified that with both a MAP version and a normal version.

Why showing many High Mega Cannon map attack... :/
Because in the very early version of SRW (SNES Era to PSX Era) HMC is a map attack that not include much animation scene and no pinpoint shot.
