alpha was the game changer. Everything starts to move, you can finally skip the battle scene, and til this day I don't think any srws game beat that roster.

Since FDS has already been suggested, how about evolution of Kira's and Athrun's combination assault? Its been in almost every Seed SRW appearance, and it always seems to be completely different.

You have forgotten Super Robot Wars Impact, Super Robot Wars Alpha 2 version
Impact's the same as Alpha. Alpha 2's the same as Alpha 3.
Ryoma's VA is different in Z series,and his style too.
You might want to try evolution of mazinger. How 'blast fire' is not being a powerful move again.
To be fair the z series used the Armageddon version of Ryoma and you mean Breast Fire right?

Breast in this case just being since it's from its chest, sort of like how it's called a Breastplate even if that armor is worn on a man or something.
Yeah, I just concluded too soon. I thought it was one of those 'unfit' Engrish usually found in games or animes
They wound up changing the anime version, and thus the voice actors for the Z series starting in Z2, because the original anime's VAs were basically retired. The last SRW game the old Ryouma VA did was Alpha 3.

やっぱり昔の竜馬の方がいいですよね。
今の竜馬は声のみならず、雰囲気や言葉遣いまで変わってしまって、自分の中で持っていた竜馬のイメージとはだいぶ違う感じがしてあまり好きになれないですね。

I wish they didn't use the classic theme with this version of Getter 1. it just feel tonally inappropriate, like if they had Mazinkaiser SKL using the Mazinger Z theme song from the 70s. Even if I do love the theme and say the whole "GAN GAN GAN GAN!" part every time
