Grizz fan checking in at the end of the year. It was an absolute tragedy that Vince Williams Jr. went down with an injury; this season was his perfect opportunity to get development time at the NBA level.
For Vince, I feel like his ceiling is a less athletic Danny Green. Not ever gonna be the star, but it's possible he ends up a 3 and D guy who can be a role player on a championship caliber team. He was playing like the kind of dawg who straight up makes winning plays. But it's hard to see if he keeps going with his growth having missed all the time. But ideally he plays great both point of attack and off ball defense, shoots, and passes well enough to keep a brisk offense.
For GG Jackson, his ceiling is... ooh wee. Hard to be impartial. Dude's putting up 44pt 12rb at 19 years old. And Denver was trying to win that game too, the first seed was at stake. Delusional Grizz fan take has his ceiling at Jimmy Butler level. His measurements are great, his shooting form looks good, he can jump out of the building. The knocks against him are mainly hand-waved away by youth and lack of maturity. Maybe he settles into just being a good scoring option off the bench, and that'll be okay too. But dude looks like I ain't gonna be surprised if he's making all-star games in a couple years
Love that you came here at the end of the year! I think you nailed it on the head with Vince. I like the Danny Green comp as well that’s pretty interesting. Maybe with a little more ball handling but yeah I see it!
Yeah GG is a stud in my opinion and I don’t throw that around a bunch. I can’t tell you how many NBA scouts I told that I would take him with a top 10 pick. They give me my credit now lol (but I messed up the Chet evaluation so I get shit for that haha).

Oh 100%, as you saw in the vid I’m really big on his game. Some dudes just have it and I see it in him. Amazed at how good his shooting stroke is though, it didn’t look that clean in college. Someone has been in the lab 👀.
