That's a thunderheader! I have one on my 17 fxdls. Sounds amazing and even louder with the 110!

Troy Uppal you should hear that fxdls with a thunderheader and the screaming eagle 117 big bore kit.

I'm from a sport bikes background and I would like to get into Harley's ...I'm looking at Dyna Street Bob...does it shake a lot at speed? I know that Dyna does shake but how bad is it?

So thinking of selling my 48 and upgrading to a street Bob. Love the old school style of the dyna! This one looked epic! That 103 looks like it has plenty of poke! Nice vlog bro.

you know what would be really cool? you on an original indian scout from back then! or triumph scrambler, or norton commander, or a horex regina.
    * is there a way to figure out what these bikes cost in the us and how to import them? the indian with all original parts goes away for 25k in germany and i'd love to own one but not for this price :D

The only Dyna I could handle was the Wide Glide. For whatever reason, the footpegs on the Low Rider buzz my feet numb in short order. Placing the controls up front as on the WG seems to eliminate that. Tried a Switchback once and that thing buzzed the whole bike at various places along the rpm range.
Almost bought a WIde Glide as a second bike for lazy days a while back. Took it for a test ride and determined with the help of the sales staff that the only way to put the bike in neutral was to turn it off. You want how much for that thing?
Rode 4 of the new Softies and the improvements are great IMHO. I don't really need another bike at the moment, but the Fatbob makes me feel like I do. Of all the new Softies, that's one I could use as a primary bike for anything. Is way comfy and rides great right outta the crate.
Fortunately, the crazy money the dealers want for them takes my mind off of them...for now.
FWIW, I thought the new FB had quite a lot of sensation on my ass at stops. Every engine pulsation seemed to come thru clearly, but without shaking the entire motorcycle as if it were bouncing down a road full of boulders. This may be a hit with the passengers.

    Hi Block!
I would love to know what parts were used to mount the front bullet turn signals to the forks with those fins just like on the rear side.
And does all of that exist in black as well?
Can you get that info for me? I’d love to mount my stock FXDLS front bullet turn signals the same way to my bike.

God daym, I am glad for my Low Rider S, with that traditionel shake’n’rumble 🙏
But now you have tried the new Softail models. Are there, or have you noticed a buzz/high frequent vibration, when you are up in the revs, compared to the Dyna’s that smooth out, when you are up and going?
And how are the vibes/buzz compared to the “old” Softail’s

This was the vlog i wanted to see....Im pretty sold on going for the 18' Street Bob. Its priced right and seems to handle great! Testy Monday on Both the 17' & 18' versions but, im pretty much sold on the 18'. I love the styling in all Black. A set of V&H or Bassani pipes with filter and fuel pack and I think its gonna be a beast. Also think the exhaust will help with that "Harley Feel"....Should Give it a good sound and rumble! Lovin your channel dude...Honestly, these vids are a good part of my influence to get onto a Harley in the 1st place, coming from a Gixxer. Keep em Coming! 👊

I owned a 2013 streetbob...great bike! I personally test ride the 18 streetbob and really liked it. 107 power rear suspension and somewhat forward controls

    • @Average_D
      @Average_D 7 ปีที่แล้ว

flynut007 ...Really Happy to hear that! A lot of Dyna owners are not too happy about the switch to softail suspension as well as the new engine being counter balanced. I have never owned a Harley but have ridden them a handful of times and personally never liked how much shake the previous engines had. But everyone is different and its all prefrence. Like i said, a stage 1 kit on the new 107s are gonna give a great feel. And the power and responsive throttle look to be promising! Sitting on the 18' street bob i felt it was a very comfortable rider position... for me. Will know more first hand on the test ride come monday!

Whats up man. I have a question for you. Im trying to transition from a iron883 to a dyna. Im really in the market for the low rider s. However, for 1, its a hard bike to find. And second, the price is high. Being that you have the low rider s how can you honestly compare it to the street bob? Street bob has always been my second choice. I don't know anyone who personally has a low rider s. Would you say both bikes ride the same? Or are the major differences.

Once aftermarket catches up to the M8, people will forget about TCs real quick. I loved my cammed TC103 Fat Bob, but my new bone stock Road King S M8 would smoke it. An opened up and cammed M8 114 is gonna be absolutely nutty power.

Dang it guy, you've just blew my budget into the stratosphere! :)
I'm still looking at a 2018 lowrider but this has given me all sorts of ideas.
Matt black respray (not a fan of wraps)
    Blacked out engine
I'm a fan of a N. Irish racer Joey Dunlop he always had a yellow helmet with a black stripe, I'm going to reverse that, much like in this video.
Stage III / IV kit, up to 114ci
I want an exhaust to release the sound but not change the dynamics too much, of course they have to be matt black
    Fuelpak FP3
High flow air filter (not sure if needed with the 2017 lowrider but...)
Performance brakes, I wanted to switch to twin disc 4 piston set up, but that would probably need a whole new front fork set up so maybe the system on this video with a single disc 6 piston performance set up would be as good and save some cash.
The bars and seat I'll wait until I can ride them to decide. But dang it either my daughter's college fund is gone, or I need to keep working 'till I'm 80! (Probably the latter).

Personally I love it, because they managed to simplify the desing without losing any content. I, on the other hand, don't fancy the tachs on the 2018 Softail Slim and Low Rider because they have the screen in both of them and feels more elaborated.

I'm writing to you again because it seems like my comment got erased somehow I simply couldn't find it I'm the dude that asked you about why you're anonymous and choose not to show your face A few motovloggers choose to do this, including one of the ones I mainly watch, cyclecruza Can you respond either via a video or directly answering this particular comment/question Hey, I just want to know I'm also the one who called you arrogant, I'm just a very honest person and speak exactly what's on my mind So later for now, have a good one
