So true about vetting that authors are also presenters. It's a reality that some of the absolute best writers and researchers are not bestowed with the gift of gab. Nor is there time always best spent developing it.
It's definitely the case that the kind of storytelling that works so well in fiction and creative non-fiction is not the same as the kind of storytelling that works so well in interviews.

I've been on some podcasts before but funny ones that like is the biggest problem. Especially that actually have readers not fellow authors.
So true. Be selective with the podcasts you appear on. If their audience isn't a match, you could be wasting everyone's time.
