Turmfalken Paar brütet, Küken schlüpfen und beinahe Unfall

Das junge Paar brütet hier in unserem Haus in Brandenburg wohl zum ersten Mal. Am 18. Mai wurde das erste von 5 Eiern gelegt und am 16. Juni ist das erste Küken geschlüpft. Innerhalb von 3 Tagen dann die restlichen vier.
Bei einem überstürztem Abflug hat das Weibchen versehentlich ein Küken mitgerissen und es wäre beinahe in die Tiefe gefallen. Nach einem Schreckmoment kam sie zurück und hat es glücklicherweise wieder zurück ins Nest getragen.
Jetzt sind die beiden Eltern fleissig am Füttern, damit sich die Kleinen in ca. 4-5 Wochen in junge Falken verwandeln und das Nest verlassen können.

😮 wow that was a super charged take off almost launched the chick over the side. Luckily kestrels will typiclly retrieve them as long as they haven't fallen from the nesting site.

Why don´t we leave the poor animals alone? the stress that wild animal has due to that camera is incredible. We humans are awful people.

Well, there's a lot of cameras everywhere to study animal´s behavior, is not the first time a bird of prey is aware of a camera, is worse if a human intervene while the parents are raising their chicks without motive.
