Hi, I'm struggling with my Sony str-de315 that has a right channel dropping out, i am trying to learn how to fix t. Thanks for this input.

​@@karelkarel6721Thanks, yes I wondered somewhat about the quality of my receiver, if it's worth fixing it. I have judged it to have high quality, but then again I am no expert. I'm not really ready to bury it yet.

@@bennyandersen742 Scheme, low frequency generator and an oscilloscope would probably help a lot in the repair.

@@karelkarel6721 Yes, thanks for that. I have checked out some soldering equipment. Maybe I will just solder the "usual suspects". First goal now is to open the box without ruining parts and components.😁👍

I don't know this type.
But in general, I would start by measuring the voltage of the source according to the diagram. Alternatively, if there are relays, will they switch. Otherwise, the oscilloscope will probably make finding the fault easier.

That fuse could be causing problems
Of course it doesn't belong there.
Did a child push it into the connector?
I don't know.
