    Knowledge is learned temporal facts.
    Wisdom is experienced eternal truths.
    Knowledge comes from the outside,
    Wisdom from the inside.

    Since to seek Wisdom and Understanding is the wisest thing that one can do, Wisdom is the principle thing. Therefore, get Wisdom and with all thy getting, get Understanding.
    Be not conformed to the pattern of this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your Mind.
    As the eye is a lamp unto the body, so is perspective to the Mind. Therefore, if your eye (perspective on Life) be single (all-inclusive), then your whole Being will be full of Life, and the Light of Wisdom and Understanding.
    The Light of Wisdom and Understanding dispels the darkness of ignorance and folly.

    I agree with your description about wisdom and knowledge, in addition according to my experience:
    -wisdom needs heart chakra as medium/tool to be received,
    -wisdom is received as the inner voice of our Spirit through the heart and perceived as soft subtle emotion that then we translate it into words/thought,
    -corrupt and dishonest personality damage the connection to source of wisdom,
    -the voice of ego and surge of emotion also block the wisdom so we can never hear wisdom when in state of anger or hate. Balanced state of mind and soul are necessary.
    -Spiritual practices or any methods/religion that strengthen the connection to Spirit world is needed to maintain the ability to hear and feel wisdom,
    -wisdom brings balanced, harmonious, win-win solution, efficient and effortless way to solve our problem.
    It is true that current American Education system is not teaching wisdom at all (or how to be wise person), it focusing too much of being intellectual than wise, maybe because they have no idea what wisdom is.
    Rare indeed people and leaders in this world that have wisdom, and even rare those who have wisdom, intellect and Knowledge, some alchemist and Kabbalist practitioners in past such as Nicholas Flamel, Yeshua (Jesus), Moshae(Moses), Egyptian God Thoth or Greek God Hermes have these trinity awareness.
    Why wisdom is related to creativity? Actually creativity is the result of connecting to our higher realm (inner spirit world) and having sensitive heart and strong emotion (as any higher information is received through imagination+emotion), which these are requirements of receiving wisdom, so coincidentally wisdom and creativity are related but they are really coming from different higher source (different Sephirot in Kabbalah: Wisdom from Chokmah and Creativity from Tipharet). So creativity is our inner Soul nature. Painting, statue, and any other art are creative expression of the creator's inner Soul. While wisdom is our Holy Trinity's voice (which located higher than Soul). Wisdom is closely related to the level as Khrisna Spirit or Buddha Nature or Christ Consciousness.
    In Kabbalah the knowledge that you mean is Sephirot Binah which is Understanding or Creative Intelligent Nature. The nature of this Sephirot is to expand, get and learn all information and also it tends to attempt all possible combination of all things (like creating all different permutation of words, or creating all possible forms of geometry). This is different than creativity from Tipharet which is more toward beauty, proportion, and dynamics. American culture tends to have good connection to Binah.
    While wisdom is located in Sephirot Chokmah (on the opposite side of Binah). It is the Temperance or Moderation and balance of everything. We can say it is feminime aspect because it is located on Jachin pillar (white/feminine pillar) while Binah is located on Boaz pillar (black/masculine pillar). Its nature avoids pervasiveness/agressivity of expansion, and keeps everything stable and peaceful. Native American tends to have good connection to Chokmah.
    Both Binah and Chokmah are strongly connected to Tipharet (Center/Soul/Harmony) which is the source of common beautiful human creativity that we can see in temples, painting, music, etc.
    When an Initiate reaches the full awareness of his/her own 10 Sephirots, according to Kabbalah, he/she attains Knowledge (with capital K) or Da'ath/Gnosis, which is the Hidden Sephirot. He/She becomes one with Christ/Khrisna/Buddha just like Jesus or Shakyamuni Buddha did.
    May this information further enrich your knowledge.

    Wisdom is large maturity. Energy of the self is maturity. Pure energy and influence of the self is maturity. It is very important to understand that what ever you do in maturity is good. It is wisdom. I need book to explain this few sentences.

    Hi Emmy,
    I have a facination for everything about what you call wisdom here but I was calling it intuition. I posted a question on Leo´s forum about it to see if anyone else has access to this magical gift. Someone did confirm that they experience it much like we do. Here is how I described my experience and learning about it - For me It responds as a voice that I can ask a question to. It responds in a quiet way but if I follow its advice I never regret it. Its advice is not logical but seems to take into account the fucture as though it had reviewed all posibilities first before instantly responding. Its like a search engine but instead of having millions answers it had only one, the best answer. It is hard to remember to use it though because I know its advice is perfect but that its advice also gets in the way of my little objectives the identity has me involved it. I have gotten so used to thinking the ego is going to set my logical objectives that an illogical yet perfect suggestion is at times scary because I might be an ass and decide not to follow it. ( Keep typing) (OK) One day I was thinking, ¨ I want to write about this phenomenon in this forum, I better test it out first. I was leaving the kitchen giong upstairs, and I asked ¨what should I do?¨ it said ¨go back to the kitchen. ¨I was resistant thinking, ¨What? I just left the Kitchen.¨ but I went back and found out I had left the burner on, while distracted. Another time I was walking around and said¨where should I go?¨ ¨Turn left here.¨ It said. I objected to myself, ¨theres nothing down this street I want to see¨ But I went anyway. A few blocks later I ran into an old friend and it was really great. So its really magical to use this once the identities importance is softened up.
    Other observations I wanted to share. The intuitions quietness fades away the more it is used. It becomes more loud and easy to access with use, or we just get better at hearing it. Also it does trick you at times which helps you overcome the egos grip by outsmarting the egos games. I find this type of advanced help happens when I ask its advice and follow it a few times in a row.
    So a note about knowledge then- Knowledge is dualistic, word based information one can collect that is about your particular identities perspective on reality. Hmm that sounds pretty limiting put this way. The identity values knowledge because it uses it to support its positions and objectives. It can do this because it filters, edits and ignores or even hides certian knowledge. Knowledge is about your time and place and perspectives. Wisdom is universal, has no limits with linear time It is advice that you dont want to ignore but doesnt get upset if you do. It just calculates new advice depending on whatever you chose to do. There is no way I created it, it goes against my logical objectives with better directions that humble me totally. Anyway let me know about your opinion.

      Well said. I heard of one practice to use for listening to this voice and it's to take a random walk. So, any decision made on the walk (which way to turn) is done from the intuition. But it can be difficult to follow without the conscious mind getting in the way. Some people, I hear, use physical sensations to guide their actions to bypass the conscious mind.

    • @trinindibariloche677
      @trinindibariloche677 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thats quite the coincidence, I just had this experience doing a random walk before I read your reply. I was just getting out of the house for a bit and was able to experience this advice that caught my eye.
      [¨the person has no control whatsoever over what they do, as well as realizing there's no such thing as morality. ¨
      These two Phrases caught my interest. So when I was walking outside tonight I was thinking about the ¨ having no control over what you do¨ thing and I remember also people here discussing freewill. So this objection came to mind first, ¨If I decide to stay in the house all day tomorrow, and actually do it, I would have controlled what I did, right? Then I just began to allow the phrase to sink in with no objections. If I cant control what I do, then I dont need to try to control what I do. So I went into this intuitive mode of not controling where I was going, I was just seeing the stones in the sidewalk as I passed over them, this beautiful tree silhouetted infront of the dark blue sky, than all these motorbikes went by and I felt like I did when I was a kid and went to the county fair, everything was new and interesting and energizing. Then I realized that I didnt know where I was so I looked around and noticed I was on a street I normally dont use. I had the urge to go into a store there I normally dont go into because I thought it was expensive. Turns out it wasnt so I bought some stuff I needed that I wasnt getting before because of these limitations. Things were going really well not controlling what I did. I realized it was alot better living in this mode. Then I thought ¨this works because I am just telling my ego it cannot control my experience and it doesnt need to try. Things go alot better without the egos limitations. Thanks Ill do more of this experiencing no control.

    wonderful video. I really enjoyed the definition of wisdom vs knowledge . In my schooling We were taught wisdom was the proper way to apply knowledge . I still think this applies but this video gives a better working definition of terms. I do disagree with the accepting behaviors of others that violate natural laws of cause and effect , such as gender ideology ect, and that is for their benefit not my own ! I AM looking forward to starting the life coaching program next month . I believe this will be a invaluable service ,and will take me way out of my comfort zone ! lol

    I love your videos Emerald but they always leave me with the feeling that this is a process I'll probably be going through the rest of my life without making any headway. The idea of self-actualization/enlightenment striking me all at once like divine intervention the way it apparently did for Eckhart Tolle is much more attractive. lol Hope you're having a good day. :)

      I have a small confession to make. When I first saw your work, I was slightly condescending. It's really embarrassing to admit really. I guess I thought you were one of many people, covering similar subjects. I have become jaded with all people talking about spirituality and emotions. It's all so distant sometimes. Feels like a show, you know. A glorified video selfie. But you really woke me to something. My own lack of trust. Discrimination. And ignorance. It is strange. Maybe it is because you are at one with your motivation. You don't have to appeal to a large subscriber base. I find you very unique and refreshing. Thank you for your insights. They are very useful, in a very practical sense. Once again, thank you. And forgive me please for my initial "bad faith" ))

    • @TheDiamondNet
      @TheDiamondNet  9 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Ernest Mostovoj No worries. I often feel the same way. There is a lot of posturing with people who are interested in spirituality. Usually, I think what happens is that most people seek spirituality to remedy lack of self-worth or feeling insignificant. They learn many things about the subject and become knowledgeable and then try to be spiritual perfectionists. This causes many shadows because it is hard to admit to our own flaws, especially for people who deem themselves "spiritual". But insight seeking and contemplation have always come naturally to me. I have a habit of pacing and talking to myself where I can spend hours exploring subjects and seeing them from different angles. This channel is really my first solid attempt to share any of my thoughts on a consistent basis. But I have a long way to go. I still have many shadows to reintegrate and become conscious of. :)

    I wonder if wisdom is the loving application of knowledge in or for the real world in a nurturing fashion. For instance the thinking of solutions is wisdom to the degree that it does not hurt or damage people, beings and environments. Greater wisdom for enough nourishment (spiritual or physical) of greater numbers of beings and for more helpful and least damaging solutions. The more unconditional love the more helpful we must become or it is a mere concept that one flirts with. The church thought forgiveness meant turning away from the problem, but it means restraining the predators until and beyond where the healing can be done. Not destroying the predators but never letting them abuse their power and the best healing focus on the safety and healing of victims with enough healing focus on the predators as well because predation is a sickness, even if it has a crude and clumsy natural purpose.

    Knowledge vs Wisdom
    We gain knowledge when we add things.
    We gain wisdom when we remove things.
    Knowledge is external
    Wisdom is internal
    Knowledge is a yang energy
    Wisdom is a yin energy
    Knowledge uses senses to gain information
    Wisdom uses intuition to inherit information

    You can create a lot of wisdom from the history of knowledge from the past, from all the mistakes of the past. This is what I look for in voting for a president , last one I remember was JFK, for an example listen to this JFK speech at the University College.

    Coming from Leo's forum, I'd like to ask - what's unique and different your channel presents, that any other same self-help channels don't? (aside from you are not fifty years old bold man in the costume with mid life crisis)

    • @TheDiamondNet
      @TheDiamondNet  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +kalter000 The main thing that is different is simply that it is my perspective, influenced by my experiences and research. I've always been an insight seeker and have many insights to share. I've also independently studied quite a lot about Jungian Psychology, as well as a bit in Taoism, Buddhism, Feminism, Alchemy, and other philosophies. I've also experienced ego-transcendence twice, which made me realize that there are many levels of truth that are sometimes contradictory, so I tend to stay with problems longer instead of abandoning them when some other perspective contradicts them. But ultimately, the primary difference is that I'm sharing my perspective on the world.

    • @kalter000
      @kalter000 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Diamond Net well... everyone is sharing their perspective. Your perspective must be really unique for people to be interested in.
      No disrespect btw, just curious what would it take to launch outstanding self-help channel. Good luck!

    • @TheDiamondNet
      @TheDiamondNet  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      kalter000 I've never met anyone who shares my perspective. So, it is unique. Most things that I talk about are deeper looks at things about the human experience that are normally taken-for-granted. So, in the sense that it gets people to re-examine their assumptions and beliefs, it is a self-help channel. I also research a lot from various teachers including Leo, Carl Jung, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Shinzen Young, Sadhguru, Eckhart Tolle, Teal Swan, and others. I never take directly from them as my ideas come to me solely through intuitions and musings, but their influences can definitely be seen in my work.

      +frisbee man This video is a bit long-winded. It was my first, so I was really rigid and over-wrote it. The main take-away here is that wisdom isn't something external that you learn... it is something internal that is ever-present. We have to become open and receptive to be in touch with our natural wisdom.

But I eventually found a way of sharing that was more relaxed and authentic to myself.
