Man, is it just me or this show keep getting better and better! I was literally dying during the news section. AND GREG PLEASE GET SOMEONE FOR ASSASSIN"S CREED!!! OR ALL-STARS!
There was this interview from E3 with this tool from G4 who absolutely would not let this guy talk. It was nice to see an interview with Ian Dallas where he actually gets to fill us in on it.
HAHA! Loved the intro: "I don't mind playing the same game every two years"; "Making sweet looooooove, oh yeeaahh". Greg was pretty good at keeping a straight face through the whole "The news we care about" segment. That made it more hilarious. And good point: Where the heck is Smash Brothers???? The giant who controls the ocean hot tub must have something to do with it. >:P And also congrats to Greg for unfortunately winning that trophy for smallest you know what. :P Another great show guys!
Games have artistic credibility. They stem from a persons or peoples imagination and are crafted with the tools we have available today. From the Unfinished Swan to Call of Duty to Skryim to Pac Man. All of these are art. ALL of them.
I was like that too but this year has been kind of a slow year for me, so I can't really dish out all the money on games like I used to. If I find a dev I like I'll actively support them, even if the game isn't the greatest. I don't base my opinion just on a games quality though, I base it on a devs response to their community. Thanks for the little chat man.
Mr. Greg Miller PLEASE DO NOT become pessimistic toward life as you fight your cancer. As someone who overcame hep. c, with a little chemo treatment, the last thing you want to do is get angry at your situation (which I know you will pull through), angry at people, and angry at life. Keep living well and fully, my friend.
I'm really into this kind of humor you're giving. I mean, come on this is the internet. I like a joke with a murdered child or a little bit of racism in it! Also, I'm really glad that Greg's ok. Can't wait for next episode!
We thought about it. We had actually written a full show! But since he was sick - and since he's been sick - it didn't feel right to do the jokes without him.
Soon! I've been splitting time between this show and the "New Games in 60 Seconds" thing, so it's been harder to write full segments for myself and Brian. But it'll come back!
My title is Lead Writer of Video, although that covers a few different things and I'll work on feature articles (not reviews or previews) from time to time. I also do stand-up professionally (I know that sounds completely awful, but I promise I'm only a little awful) and write occasionally for other stuff. I broke into games by writing funny freelance articles about them a while back. That got me a job writing at Nintendo, which I left for IGN.
seeing the unfinished swan makes me look at my xbox and really want it to change into a PS3 for a few weeks! stunning game! I hope it gets the sales it deserves! good luck! also I'm new to this show (don't ask how I missed it for so long) I love it!
Oh, God, I'd love that. Let me talk to the producers. European & Japanese developers can be a bit harder to schedule with (time constraints of traveling around the world). But, that would be so amazing.
I believe all games are art. Pac Man and Mario and Angry birds and every other game considered by many to be "time waster games" are just the pulp video games. They are still art, but are specifically targeted at basic ideas and gameplay most or all people can understand to appeal to a large market. As a person who plans to be a creative director of video games when I grow up, I'm hoping to help prove this.
I wish show would get more view. I mean you have amazing guests and it's done very professionally. It should be on TV.
The only reason for me to be happy in this crappy monday. Keep up the good work guys!
The best podcast of all time made by human being on planet earth award has returned
Unfinished Swan is one of the most finished video game product released this year. No patch, no bugs, no issues... just awesome game.
Greg good to see you back and good, evident from the episode without you that you are the gel of this show! hope everything is good man stay safe!
I like that sound mix fits into every game that they showcase. So so good!
Really great show, consistently funny. Writing is great and Altano is always a riot.
Yes! So happy to see the giant with the ocean hot tub is returning. Keep 'em coming.
Nice to see that Greg is back! That slow jam blew my mind! BEYOND!!!

Holy crap! I totally forgot it was Monday! Good to have you back Greg.

I'm happy you're back, Greg. I hope it's to stay ;)
Up At Noon is literally the highlight of my week... and I do extreme ironing on Wednesdays.
LOL...at that Sonic jab. Brian Altano "you see the reason that jokes work is because..." LMAO.
Ian Dallas! You seem like an awesome guy. Which is great to see in a industry smothered with money now days.
Look forward to see what you do next.
You're back! I missed you, Steve Brey!

Can't wait to play The Unfinished Swan. Great show guys!
Thanks! Keep watching!
Okay, this is CLEARLY the best opening to an Up at Noon episode yet...
Thank God Greg is back!
Greg, SMB is all there on PS3 and Vita, and its so much fun.
Totally agree. I don't know why people still question it.
This was a very good episode this week. Lots of funny moments.

Good to see you're feeling better greg. Love up at noon, and oh yeah.... BEYOND!
Love that I get to watch this before my class starts!
We didn't know what to do without him!
Man I just freaking love that giant and his hot tub! Never get rid of that joke.
No offense to Ryan, but it's really good to see you back Greg.
Glad you liked it!
Good interview as usual. Get well soon Greg!

Greg's out of town on some emergency thing. He's not sick; don't worry. Just out of town on a last-minute trip.
These guys are comedic GENIUSES!

It definitely took a Finished Bong to make the Unfinished Swan.
We thought about it. We had actually written a full show! But since he was sick - and since he's been sick - it didn't feel right to do the jokes without him.
Agreed. We need to do that.
great show guys! i love this show, i watch it every week :DD
He was really awesome.
It's good. I've been lucky to work with some of my heroes. The traveling can be rough, but it's definitely fun.
Someday, we hope!
this show is awesome, i never miss an episode! :D
If we can think of something, definitely.
Great Episode! Great interview!
Great episode as always :)
Great interview.
Soon! I've been splitting time between this show and the "New Games in 60 Seconds" thing, so it's been harder to write full segments for myself and Brian. But it'll come back!
This episode had 69 views when I clicked on it. That combined with the intro make this most seductive Up at Noon yet.
I hope you're doing well, Greg.
kudos to the person did the song
She does! She didn't tell anybody. We sort of accidentally discovered it.
Still lovin the show like I did the first one had it subed from the get go keep on doing it guys I'll be watching.
Agreed! It was beautiful!
This was a funny episode thanks for the laugh cant wait for next week.
The Unfinished Swan looks pretty cool, I may pick that up
When that joke came up in the room, we all hated it and knew it absolutely had to be in the show.
This show is awesome. Keep it going!
I wish Swan would come to XBL. I'll buy it in heartbeat
The Unfinished Swan looks amazing. Something I may have to buy.
Slow jam is great.
another awesome episode!
the cancer has already been treated, he is not going to die anytime soon.
You wouldn't be missed... "That is that simple."
You can beat it in a weekend, but I think there's a lot of potential for multiple playthroughs. I also always try to support new IPs.
Then thanks for watching!

Not bad, not bad. This one was pretty funny, and the Unfinished Swan looks interesting.
Halo Rocks
Awesome episode! I love this game...
Naomi has a wonderful singing voice!
This was actually pretty good.
Dear Esther is a piece of art. so yes video games are art!
I recently finished Unfinished Swan (so to speak) and it was incredible. Thoroughly worth the $20.
He's right here!
seeing the unfinished swan makes me look at my xbox and really want it to change into a PS3 for a few weeks! stunning game! I hope it gets the sales it deserves! good luck!
also I'm new to this show (don't ask how I missed it for so long) I love it!
I know Greg will hate to hear this, but I definitely agree with you. Uncharted is great Nicholas Cage fan fiction.
Thanks! And also, YES.
Oh, God, I'd love that. Let me talk to the producers. European & Japanese developers can be a bit harder to schedule with (time constraints of traveling around the world). But, that would be so amazing.

it's more, its just going showing it.
Agreed, very nice guy, unfinished swan is next on my list.
This game will be epic on the vita
Yep.
Get well Greg. Beyond!
You guys are the best. However, I'm eagerly awaiting the triumphant return of Turtle Talk! Maybe you could lampoon the new Nickelodeon series.
