Need to put a winch on that trailer! My dad hooked up a cheap $50 harbor freight winch with a battery and it's way better than pushing it up the ramps! Sweet trailer. Surprised it didn't come with a spare mount though. You should video some of your Mustang going around a track or 1/4 mile.
I have a 7x20x 14k summit basically the same trailer but mine is not tilt deck and I also have a 2500 ram 2002 with 35s on my truck also 4 inch lift and it fits between the fender wells just fine no problem at all also these 35s stick out big time
Square steel frames dont last to long in the rust belt. Salt/water always gets in and you cant paint, clean or even see in there. They typicaly have perfect exterior paint and rot out from the inside.
i hope you don't put anything kinda heavy on the trailer or it will crack, its a design flaw the tongue has its frame that goes under the deck's frame and makes the front half of the trailer a "double frame" but the double frame stops right before the front trailer axle and it tends to crack right where it ends go check out demolition ranch Matt's video when his frame broke

The brains behind the designs has almost 20 years experience working on these things. Put that thing in the hands of an idiot and they'll find a way to break it.
Google. Copper-green brown. They also have copper-green "green" and "clear" for your wood preservative but considering the age of the video im sure you took care of it.

Never seen a more honest trailer review than this one. I really like the adjustable hitch height and the jack compared to the normal round ones.
Nice trailer! I use Thompson's WaterSeal on my wood decks. It doesn't last forever but it's easy to apply.

I like the Summit trailers also. Been looking at them. Plus they are local company!
I use a product called READY SEAL, ITS oil based , soaks in really well and seems to last . It’s not slippery either. Only one coat is required too.

What happens if you try to load a long vehicle like a van on the trailer, wouldnt it start tilting before its rear tires are even on?

I bought the same trailer but 18 ft 10k tilt. Had a Summit Premier 7k with equipment ramps and sold it for what I bought it for.

What additives do you use with your cp4 and have you thought about doing the CP3 conversion if cp4 acts up instead of replacing cp4

I think it will be fine for hauling a Mustang. Overloading it on the other hand ..... everything has a breaking point.
