It's crazy listening to this now that Flint, Michigan provides a nice example to prove his point.

This is the Chemtrails excerpt Prince was referring to in his interview with Tavis. This is deep and slightly terrifying. I have so much respect for this man.

are you sure, because accordingly, Prince sang about chemtrails in “Dreamer,” from his 2003 album “Lotusflower.”
      While the helicopter circles
      And the theory’s getting deep
Think they’re spraying chemicals over the city
      While we sleep?
From now on I’m staying awake
So you can call me a dreamer too
      Wake up wake up
and the speech was 2008, right?
      website continues;
In a rare televised interview on the Tavis Smiley Show, Prince explained that he was inspired to write the song after watching civil rights activists Dick Gregory speak at the 2008 State of the Black Union. “[Gregory] said

Funny how people think he's racist and what not...He's not only calling out white people, he's calling out the whole establishment as well as holding black people accountable as well. Telling the black people that they need to do better and recognize what really needs to be changed. Ease up people and get some education please, I dare you.

    • @RickySweatypalmz

+Big Iron He's probably referring to the whites and people alike that use oppression to hold the minority back. He's a comedian so yeah he went politically incorrect, but maybe this will open some eyes up to those who retreat to hidden racism. He would call out the cowards that say they aren't racist, but deep down they know they really are. I would hate to see how white people would react if they were put through the same oppression as others have. Just saying.

You know what? Prince is not crazy by a long shot. This dude, through his music, is letting people know about what's really going on in the world. It's too bad that much of today's society dismiss him as a loon or irrelevant. But, those of us who support Prince and his music should still rejoice in the fact that he's willing to share what he knows with us. I'm sure that in the future, the rest of the world will catch up to what Prince is trying to expose right now.

Never question a man who is both more enlightened than you and way more experienced .Dick Gregory is my hero, he sees what many refuse to see or are just plain too stupid to see. I hope that the many people that witness the truth spoken by him do not only laugh and exclaim in awe at his daring, but that they also consider his words for he is a great humble man that cant keep his disappointment in todays society to himself. He should be running for president,he should win, thank God for him.

Just b/c it's sold in stores, in your neighborhoods, doesn't mean you have to buy & consume it? People need to take responsibility for their own actions in this world. ATP we should at least be THINKING for ourselves. FFS

He has the right to his point of view-and if you listen, really listen, he is bringing to light examples of the point he is making. This is not divisive, it explains a point of view--an experience! Look at his age--this is why we say, respect your elders, they have a point of view that current attitudes have brushed over!

For you to move on you has to remember what it has happened in the past and learn what that will bring in the future. just remember all races have good and bad you just have to use lifes experieces to judge who to trust or avoid.

im black myself and to be honest, im doubting the wisdom of these words. black people, by law, enjoy a vast array of freedoms and priviledges, ESPESIALY in the western world. we vote, we get educated, our righst are protected by law and our ability to move up social strata and to better ourselves is now impinged upon from no one else save ourselves. their is nothing, save to pass negative judgement, that a police officer can do anymore to a black person.

  • @GoddessIsIs999

No so called leader among our people is exempted from being questioned. Black people looking mean, Dick Gregory said. Hell, are we suppose to look like we have joy in a system that is Unnatural and keeps kicking our people minds and behinds. If there aren't any Divine righteous angry Black People angry for all that has happened to us and still happening to us, if we do not have divine righteous anger, we are insane.

Why stop at talking about what is in the malt liquor? Why not about the shit in McDonalds meat? Why not about the high interest rates at banks? Why can't you build a business off of the money you earn working hard with your hands? He made points and failed to out those sponsor who would be the same people he is pointing out in the conspiracy.

The name of the event was State of the Black Union. That would imply an event that deals specifically with black issues. Consequently that would cause most of the audience to be black. Your comments, whether you wish to acknowledge it or not, are not neutral, but very racist. It used to be a law that black people could not congregate. It was considered threatening. I see the perception is still alive and well.

and as a black person it is in our culture to be highly adaptive to the situation. You'll notice a breath of fresh air if you're in lets say Singapore, and ppl will know you are American. Police don't just randomly stop to question you, etc etc. And Singapore btw is not a democracy. You return home you will find how stressful it is, and wonder how you put up with a lot of the BS in the US. I can name any country. racism exist to certain degrees, but the US it is very violent.

+Sonyag1 He is a intelligent guy , his point was that there is something going on in black neighborhoods we should check and I personally agree. Don't forget they found all unknown ingredients in food supplied to the native Indians. It ended with a factory problem, but there suicide rate went up with 30% in 1 year. Maybe they were just crazy, maybe not. This is the same government who brought guns, liquor and heavy drugs to black community to keep them calm and obedient.

+Beown1245 Understood. Yes, anglos have a lot to answer for with the intentional poisoning/drugging/disease spreading of native Americans. And with blacks, there was disease intentionally put in blacks (Tuskegee Syphilis experiment). I get it. But malt liquor isn't being force fed to anyone. As a black woman, I think people who are black need to be aware of the efforts to stifle us, so....stay away from their poisonous liquor.
