When I pre-purchased the new album on iTunes(expected in September), it included two versions of Black Thunder, one was 4ish minutes, the "Extended" version was around 8 minutes. I think this is the first half of the Extended version, because it's definitely not the complete "regular" version. This is the song Sugaan Essena was based on, I'm glad we didn't just get another version of Sugaan Essena in the original Mongolian. Instead, they changed up the music a bit so that it feels like a different song.
Part two will be out sometime today it's said. Two parts to this. I know those voices get you and I don't understand how Galaa"s voice gets deeper in every video! Have you checked out any of their live stuff? Talk about DEEP! It's like he tones it down for vids. Great reaction, as always! - three days later and I guess I was wrong, don't know how long till part two-
Congratulations on the 2230th and 2231st anniversaries of the Tulgar State, 815th and 816th of the Great Mongolia State, 100th and 101st anniversaries of the People's Revolution, and the National Naadam Festival.
Seems like this is about the Dzungar Khanate, the last nomadic empire vs the Manchu Qing Dynasty. I have bad news for you guys. These story ends horribly for the Mongols
Your right. What can I say. I am Mongol, but the fact is fact. But wanna say that Manchu fought with Mongols over 100 some years to completely take over. The real Manchu control lasted roughly little over 100 years. But sure it was definitely the saddest period of our history.
This is a different take on a song they have already released. The band wrote this song originally, but were asked by the game devs over at Respawn to use the song for their game Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, its basically the same song but the lyrics were re-translated from mongolian to 'hutese', which is a fictional language in the Star Wars universe. The song is called 'Sugaan Essana', if anyone wants to here the full version of this song before part 2 comes out.
i can easily understand word called ''tengri' in the song. it is our ancient one sky god tengri in turkic mythology. Mongolians look a lot like us too. in terms of culture mythology, foods etc. we all coming from central asia. our old homeland. we didnt stay. always moved through the west... 𐱅𐰭𐰼𐰃:𐰋𐰃𐰔:𐰢𐰤𐰤 !
Enjoyed ur reaction.. btw.. Plz checkout indianfolkmetal band called Dymbur. The song Child Abuse & Rape Culture. These guys write song on sensitive issues. Would love to see ur reaction to their song Child Abuse which has elements of folk instruments and rap

It was originally like this, Sugaan Essena is made of song from Black thunder
Throat singing goes so well with the metal theme like the bagpipes.

Black Thunder is reference to the black flag flown by th Hun going to war.
