Take a trip down here to Nigeria, then you would see how Nigerians are like. She's blunt,which I like,but half of the time, people would hide it . And as for Nigerian mum's,u don't know the half of it😅😅😏 Abishola is an upgrade man.

You need to watch more than one episode of a show to be able to give any credible review. Plus I suggest you change your attitude toward one of looking for the good in people. You have taken beloved characters and slammed them - you are not going to win friends and influence people with that attitude. I love the show and I love the characters.

This was my favorite new show, when it aired 3 seasons ago. It had tremendous potential, but I have to agree with you. Abishola’s character is a total drag. She is a complete kill joy, mean and always too serious. I don’t know how or why a sweet easygoing guy like Bob fell in love with her, they have nothing in common. The supporting cast does a good job, keeping the show somewhat entertaining. The writers need to breath some life into Abishola’s character or change her name to Debbie, cuz she’s a real downer.
It is now 2022 and the show is still on. I don't care one way or another. I agree Abishola character is not a fun person at all. I mean Billy Gardell is so fun loving and remember he was on Mike and Molly with comic great Melissa McCarthy.
I am an African American woman who has worked with many women from Nigeria. Hint I am an RN and the Abishola character is a correct presentation of the many Nigerian women I have worked with and gotten to know over the years.

You cant pull 1 episode at random from a show that is in the middle of a story, and judge it as being incomplete??? of course its incomplete to you, because you are starting the show in the 3rd season. what we would like to know....what do you watch?? i would imagine some type of anime or you watch alot of shows from Marvel. Not all shows are for everybody. Why not tell us the shows you watch so we can all ridicule you and put you down as welll. so ignorant
