Always on point! Unfortunately have to face up to the facts that it is getting ridiculously expensive there.

Great video! I think it’s boring as hell here, and way too many people. Traffic is ridiculous. If you own a home, you pay out the ass for insurance and god forbid you need to put a claim in after a hurricane. My advice, don’t bother moving to this state, come for a vacation, or come to escape the cold, but don’t move here. Even though there is no state tax - you’re going to pay for this sunshine - in the cost of food, insurance (car & home), poor wages & terrible healthcare.

What you're saying is mostly true - 10 year resident of the area here. What's ironic is that every year we watch the whole middle of America get hit with horrific storms and I sit there and think...thank God I don't live in the middle of the US. The tornado belt is getting notably larger.

I was looking for single home but because of hurricane risk is it better to buy a condo in Tampa? Do condo buildings in Tampa also experience power outages and flooding during hurricanes? Or are they safe? I wish this was covered -- if condos are a better option to mitigate the home flooding risk.
