Wife and I were both able to work remote, so our jobs stayed in NJ and we moved to just east of Tampa. Loving the pay raise we got when NJ State Tax was no longer being taken out. Also loved not having to shovel snow.

You don’t have to shovel sunshine ☀️

Nice. Most companies are cutting employees that are working remotely or forcing a return to office policy soon. If you are forced to get a local job, you will quickly suffer so keep that job as long as you can!

How will a new job make them suffer?

Thanks so much for these informative and realistic snapshot of Tampa. I’ll be doing the RV lifestyle full time on MacDill AFB that will allow me to comfortably grow my company!

Hello there. I just wanted to say I enjoy your video's immensely. I grew up in Kissimmee, FL, but, now live in Georgia. I have a sister in St Pete Beach and I enjoy keeping up with what is going on in the Tampa area. Thanks again. I wish you continued success! All the best. Jim from Georgia.

Unfortunately, that's the case in many great cities in the country. Inflation is brutal!

Much worse in FL. I lived in St Pete for 20 years. Love IRB. Regular folk got choked out. I’m not poor either.

We moved to westshore in 2019 from Atlanta, in 5 short years Tampa has overdeveloped, cost of living has skyrocketed, and auto and home insurance is ridiculous. South Tampa now floods with most downpours in the summer months. Lack of infrastructure and zero plans to improve anything. Mostly, Tampa lacks culture and modernization of the southern cities like Atlanta, Nashville and Charlotte. This place is boring to say the least. No such thing as southern hospitality here. It was a nice change for like 2 years but once you get past the beaches it's hard to find anything else. We are Moving back to Atlanta in October, we will be saving 3k in rent, insurance and expenses a month just by doing so. FL is for vacation and retirement.

Anyone who wants a cheap 55+ check out Five Towns in West St Pete , great amenities and location just have to find a well managed building where the condo fee isn't too high, all the buildings are individually managed with separate HOA's

Don't believe it. Tampa is nothing like it use to be. Property is out of control expensive. Over development of the area, where by we have lost many of the benefits it use to offer, down to how often we can water our lawns, due to such large density surge, in such a small area. Once quiet neighborhoods now have excessive traffic on them, making it next to impossible to get in and out of your drive. Add in absurd property taxes and Liberal police force, and you have a recipe for disaster. This city is not for you unless you enjoy wall to wall people. Too bad, because not that long ago, things were great. So much for evolution.

Man wait till you find out how much worse it is in the rest of these mainly Democrat run cities 😂. I'm from NYC no one here even thinks of buying property. I think everything's gotten worse over the last 4 years it's not just a Tampa thing I think everyone is saying that now
