Best comment: Do you need a suggestion for a march to beat a weaker player? LOLOL. I would LOVE to see them try to give everyone a PVP and PVE march suggestion for each unit type. If they did this instead they might not need so many "bugs" (love you calling them that).
Ye buddy. When yuu lvl 7 …SeaSpray level 7 (not on the topic , but bought with real money ) and this “thing” : recommended me :
- my enriyes lvl 5 ..without mentioning SeaSpray OR REI
- get recommended Nereid which is at 3 stars …while SeaSpray at 5 star + a whooping 1.800 $ level 7..
This is a SEVERE BUG …we are FAR beyond any “mistake” level here

❤ Thx True T-mi, the idea of putting the combo is excellent, but as mentioned it is wrong for many heroes, both alternative and meta. As I told you in the other video, your set up is the same as mine at the moment and I'm super satisfied with the results, congratulations on the excellent work....Just add that we really need a PVP challenge without limits and with rewards, that would be a addition, such as classifying skins such as Gold, purple, blue according to their importance, like the heroes, and having tokens for these same skins in rewards.

On our server conversation we just chalked it up to RG wanting to promote newer heroes over what you really have in your inventory that will work better for you. When we get bored we plan on testing there recommendations out during the week to see/show if it a bad idea or good idea. But we already know that answer

Yes. Sure …but keep in mind 2 more great skins : void matrix (free ) and storm factory.
In 2-3 months ..EL /TA is back and they have a very annoying teleport limitation .
This 2 skins bypass that and are a huge help

I agree with the idea that TW is suggesting some heros in an effort to encourage spending. But I disagree that TW is comparing exclusive 5s against 7s. They are only showing what exclusive you hold for that hero (for example, it’s not suggesting your Barbie because of her exclusive lvl 1). The page is just suggesting substitutes, not based on exclusive levels.
Once again, you had me laughing out loud at the confused cricket in the beginning of the video? 😂🤣 The developers recommendations are borderline “New World Order” level! (Outright lies made to generate money, and victimize uninformed players.) Thank goodness you’re here to PROTECT and INFORM the player community!

Tme overall let me say UD event is great for older experienced players. However myself playing the game for only 6 months at 30M CP. I feel totally useless and outgunned during any fights where I see 80M CP bases sitting on the 2 Ruins. The % of new players trying to get any points on a Ruin in UD is... get burned weekly and rebuild troop. Really is there anything I can do?
I'm already a MM but just building towers gets me burned each time.

Yes. Shake is literally Polik 2.0.
You can use whatever you like : auska or shake with gipsy and striker …it’s impossible to do a mistake …as long as you forget about BRY

Tme i do not know if you review the other comment but can you tell me how to buy the hero skill shards from event since you told me it cost 180. i bought snake eyes and it cost 80 up to level 4 and if i buy 100 one it would not get to level 5
You need 81 x lvl 1 skill ..do NOT a buy all at once ..otherwise you get more then 81 fragments (which is a lvl 5). And it would be a waste .

Hey T-me, I'm navy main using Gipsy, Duke and Crimson. Working on my army now, I have Asuka and Striker, do you recommend me to spend all my shards in snake eyes to complete my army? I know it's not the best setup possible but I suppose it should work while I can't take Gipsy out of my navy
I would work ..BUT the next navi hero should be an alternative to stromoy We don’t know that yet .
So you could do that 1 hero to 5 stars …put in on Navi (replace gipsy ). And take gipsy + striker + asuka to have a very deadly tank setup .
Asuka striker snake will suffer from asuka’ s less stronger offense buff

That’s the key point here ..you guys don’t listen .
The lesser you can afford to spend ..the BIGGER your distance to NAVI MUST BE!.
Duke is super fine …but stromoy and crimson are a bit too old to invest in them .
You have : asuka , gipsy (you have him) , striker , Duke , Shinji , snake …DONT start with crimson and stromoy now .
Get Duke (or striker)…+ gipsy + asuka and start your tanks …best setup .
All 3 are universal heroes and work on any unit type ..best would be tanks (due to high amount of units in your base).
I’m vip 16 …for almost 2 years now …you see me focusing on tanks and planes ..while leaving my Navi to : stromoy + Layla + crimson. (All lvl 5)
I will keep saying this..cause it’s the truth :
Navi is :
- extremely complicated heroes
- expensive
- less units in your base .
So when a knowledgeable vip 16 tells you : I am NOT a main Navi …what makes you think a lower spender can be happy with Navi .
Rivergame needs to :
- rework the base layout for navi
- design heroes like the tanks and planes are …NOT rocket science and underperforming

@@t-me8295 Appreciate the response. Thing is for medium n small spenders like me we have already invested on couple of Gold equips, mastery and suppression on our main Navy. Hence hard to switch. But I am also thinking of moving to Army. Funny thing is by the time we move to army, navy might get strong again XD. Funny top war.
@nick6134 go with purple gear buddy ..it’s not bad . I would love to give you better news ..but you see my account …all my Navi heroes stay at lvl 5 …while for my tanks and planes : I have lvl 7s .
Not worth it ..not right now with such heroes …often you need to change 2 heroes instead of 1 . You don’t have that on tanks or planes .
Maybe you are lucky and they finally understand that navi heros need to be design like the tank and planes heroes : simple + strong .
Everyone talks about brynhidr …no one about maple ..the biggest flop ever.
Brynhildr was at least consider an alternative to Polik …later auska …maple was NEVER an alternative …just a weird hero design complex on paper ..and in battles : flat performance.

Hi T-me. I agree with your recommendations for removing some heroes and moving some around. But your video implys that the display of Hero Combos should be dynamic based on your/our accounts. I think this isn't the case. All heroes suggested by River Games are static and the same for everyone. But yes, if RG made it dynamic based on your individual account. That would be great, but also very complicated code wise and potentially very buggy.

Ye. BUT if you go back to. Gipsy vs megatron videos , you will see:
Gipsy with lvl 5 is far stronger the megatron lvl 7.
If you have the possibility to get gipsy and replace megatron: DO IT

The hero recommendation only looks at the hero. Not the level you have the hero at or if you have an exclusive for it. For me it recommends heroes that I do not have.

How about gipsy ? Gipsy and striker are extremely great heroes in topwar. You have on crimson?
Except asuka (lower offense buff) the rest of your heroes : NONE is offense buffing hero .
Duke + asuka + snake …sure Bry would work great with asuka …more : Bry needs asuka .
But later on : if you need to move asuka to planes ..Bry is all alone .

Just a note, the recommendations are static. The position of heroes in my Hero Combos tab is exactly the same as yours, despite having a much lower and more recent level of development. IE, I still get shown Nereid and Erinyes despite not even having them unlocked. And Duke at 1 star over 5 star Gipsy or Shinji.
It seems they are aiming more towards highlighting heros that synergize with each other rather than strength, which would be a much better idea if synergy actually could compete with the power creep.
But it won’t be able to. Lvl 7 on solid hero . Like Shinji, striker can NOT be out synergized by a Duke lvl 5
Currently army with Shinji/Gypsy/Asuka, planning to activate navy, want to get Duke/Snakeyes to replace Shinji/Asuke and have navy march of Shinji+Asuka+Stromey, is this a good idea?
I STRONGLY advise against starting your Navi seriously. Get the planes , far better . Let them start to design navi heroes like tanks or planes .
We have Duke now ..but he works on all unit types (planes inclueded ) …the rest is : crimson , stromoy …both heroes close to 10 months only now .
Very risky to invest in them that late

Sure asuka will work on navi . I think ..at this moment..it’s the smartest way to invest in proper and universal heroes , instead of exclusive Navi heroes .

Yes. You can do that. That’s why I’ve compared Duke to Shinji , striker , Layla . They’re core tool is the indestructible

T-Me - Just to be clear. It sounds like you would recommend Asuka over Snake to make the best possible Army march along with Striker and Gypsy. In your case, you would like to move Asuka to AirForce and that is why you are using the second best Army Meta march containing Snake instead of Asuka in the last (third) hero slot. Is this correct?

I read all the comments under the video. I understand that you do not recommend Navy for free players. And you also do not recommend investing resources in Stromoy and older heroes.
But I play for the Navy and made almost all my investments there. I don’t have a single hero with a skill, but I can make a skill for one and in the future two. Since the heroes are becoming obsolete, I am only accumulating resources.
I have the Navy March from Crimson, Gypsy and Leila all 5 stars. Also I have Stromoy, Duke and Snake all 4 stars. Brynhildr, Stryker, Mappelin 1 star each.
I was thinking about creating a second Navy march or strengthening the main one. After viewing the material, I cooled down. Maybe now there is no need to change anything at all, what can you advise?
The suppression, amount of units are simply to important for you to build a 2nd navi , instead of staring with your tanks or planes .
Simple example :
Have a look how many Navi units you can fit in your base …versus: tanks ..or planes

You have a very strong navi march : Crimson gipsy Layla ….you wanna build a 2nd march
My goal is to give you the best advice possible..as it would be my account.
But it will always remain your decision.
I would suggest you to start your tanks : striker , snake ….TILL we get a great alternative to stromoy ..she is great but a touch older now .
Once we get that : stromoy alternative…5 star it , in order to push gipsy to your tanks

Hi T-mi, I have seen that the ES lvl are based on what ES lvl you currently have. if you have no ES equipped it will not appear in that window.
That was NOT my point. Having SeaSpray at lvl 7 …the system shows me nereid at 3 stars and no skill ..it’s absolutely mind blowing bug level wrong

I would love to start to build a tanks march: at I have the 2 transformers and Villiers, all lvl3. I 600 shards and 3.7k ex shards. Who should be my first hero ? Gipsy? And then striker or asuka? What makes a hero level 7 I’m confused I thought they only go up to 5 stars?
Hero lvl 7 ..I was referring to special skill NOT the star level
I think they only put Cromwell in there is for newer servers and f2p. Cromwell is free in the beginning. Same for all other heroes. They put out info for older and newer players. We have the same hero combo In server 3259 and we’ve never had a chance to get gypsy or Stryker. So to us, it’s weird that Gyp and Stryk are in there. See what I mean?
I believe that these hero combos have nothing to do with who the best heroes are. I believe that they are all marches that are put together for different reasons. ( If you want to “counter-attack” with army, these are the best hero combinations for that. If you want to attack “directly”, use this March. If you need a simple AF March, these are easy to put together. If you need to defend your base with Navy, these are the best heroes together for “defense”, etc,…) You see what I mean? I believe there are just “tips” for marches that you can put together to accomplish different goals, from the heroes you have in inventory and whatever skills you have them equipped with

The star level and exclusive skill of heroes are shown according to your account (what you have them on your account). It doesn't mean that duke level 5 = shinji level 7 or crimson 5* = nereid 3*

@@t-me8295 by default it shows same heroes to everyone. Star level and skill lvl is taken and shown directly by your account and it doesn't change the order for the same. If you didn't unlock the hero yet, still it will show you there

I think that the misleading point of this tab is that its recommending what YOU the individual player has in its stock. IT is NOT evaluating the hero and the quality level of the hero that you have to make a suggestion. This is just showing you a hero that it (RG) recommends, whether you have obtained the hero or not.
this could be beneficial for the player building in a vacuum and not asking good questions.

I don't think the system wants you to use a lvl 5 instead of lvl 7 or a 3 stars instead of 5 stars , it's just suggesting heroes regardless of their skill or star lvl
You got something wrong here . The system implements a solid lvl 5 ( indestructible extra round , etc etc etc) and tries to have a tempting lvl 7

It’s a simple flop. The system should NEVER recommend me heroes at 3 stars ..while having a gazzilions of heroes at 5 stars…many with lvl 7

Heroes which can be obtained with gems from lucky treasure are free heroes .
If you missed that opportunity, which is REALLY NOT GREAT, keep gathering the universal hero shards .
I will NOT recommend you ANY navi heroes because the meta right now is a big old = it’s very bad idea to invest in them now .
Tanks : Duke or striker or Shinji + gipsy or asuka : preferably- striker + gipsy
Planes : Duke or striker or Shinji + asuka : preferably- Shinji + asuka
All this heroes are universal heroes and WILL work on Navi also .
The rest of the heroes are either unit type specific (and older) OR just older (they may potentially get an alternative soon)
Situation is as follows...
Army- Gypsy Striker Brynn
Navy - Nemo Erinyes Mega
Air - Max Shinji Kum
All lvl5 exclusive
You have enough shards to bring 3 heros to 5*/lvl5 exclusive(4 if Asuka without exclusive is actually viable). All heros are available. Who do you choose and why?

Wait with the rest of, as the Navi meta now is : stromoy - Layla (Duke) - crimson . And both stromoy and crimson are pretty old .
Planes : max - Shinji - Kum ..it’s an older setup BUT still a great meta for planes right now ..
You could implement asuka instead of Maximo . Maximo is beast with HT …but without …not so much .
Snake , asuka and Duke …if you are willing to let Bry go . For me , Bry won’t even be in my 2nd match honestly
Granted: your Navi needs a full rebuild …BUT except Duke …stromoy and crimson are older and we expect a good alternative pretty soon
