I haven't had the extra money to mod my Ruckus yet but I do love riding it whenever I can. It's my first bike and I love that it looks badass whether it's been modified or not. I always wanted a scooter but HATED the way they looked. I fell in love with the Ruckus the first time I seen one.
Got mine two months ago. Already jetted, ncy cdi, yoshi exhaust, uni intake, polini variator, tachometer, Michelin boppers, ncy shock, belt, drive face. Handle bars, metro gears and much more coming soon.
@Rolling Wrench Matt I have a question with it being hard for me to locate a water pump for my 232cc 4valve Taida Build I'm down to needing very few things left with Radiator and water pump for my build and do you have any advice on what I can use because this build is important as I'm using it to raise awareness for veterans suffering from suicide caused by ptsd. I want to start a riding program with Scooters for veterans to be able to ride in groups at their local VA As I FEEL most alive when I ride more open and free to the world and with Scooters being a viable option that's cost effective might get a lot of my brothers and sisters to open up more. I think it could save lives it be group THEROPY SESSIONS on bikes which would be great. Our bike will be themed Remember Our Warriors
We had nice enough weather for a ride last week so I broke out Pissed Off Penny.. She was My first stretched wide wheel Gy6 swapped Ruckus build from 11 years ago.. ..Built Her From scratch, Motor mount,, Trimmed up and stretched frame, Underset carriage and a Bag, foot cage and bars, hard motor bushings and I had no choice but to turn my own Hub from an old rim. XP The availability of parts today is the one thing that I will not take for granted. XD Ruck-on
I want to build one so bad. That's my dream right now. I love build scooters I have to try and get my hands on one this summer if I can accumulate the funds...
I have a tao tao 150 scooter that I'm putting a 180 big bore kit and ncy big valve head on, I'm also putting together a performance clutch kit and eventually I'm going to remove the engine and buy a used Honda Ruckus clone chasis and put the engine in that
Nice , i have a BWS zuma 150CC , it was climbing on 80km/h before easily , now with full throtle it does not reach 63km/h , what would cause this ? Any solution for that ?or to make the bike more powerfull climbing again ? All the best .
Just out of curiosity, does your ruckus’ light dim at lower RPMs? Like a at stop? Then, once you get going again the light back up? Or do they stay the same brightness?
And here I am with my Chinese piece of junk scooter that can't even start up right.😐 Hopefully I'll be able get one of these better quality bikes one day.

How far is too far to ride a stock Ruckus without stopping?
Good question! I’m not sure. That’s personal preference. There are people that’s have traveled the USA on them

Yes, that’s totally normal. Set your idle to around 2k. Or install LED bulbs
