2000-2007 Ford Taurus/2000-2005 Mercury Sable Fuel Filter Replacement

This is a simple DIY job that is as simple as it can get. It takes about an hour and can save you about $100.00. That is about what they would charge you at a shop.
Things you need for the job:
- Flat head screwdriver
- 8mm socket and ratchet
- Gloves
- Rags
- Dorman 800-015 after market retainer clips(Optional)
- Jack or jack stands

My 2004 sable has a hesitation at around 40 mph and 60, not as bad at 60. I wondering if this is my issue.

Mine is hard to start and idles bad but after warms up everything’s fine. I put the computer on it and no codes.
