This is the most informative deck profile I've seen yet. Thank you for the indepth perspective. I found it very helpful. I look forward to seeing what decks Kevin builds for OP-02. I would really like to hear Kevin's thoughts on Who's.Who. It can help early game and the only bad match up for it seems to be the mirror. If no island the -1 can set you back early game and has a weak body but sometimes it's just a smaller 6 drop King and during certain situations it's more versatile. Also congratulations on top 8!
3000 body is too hard to work with with no Counter value. It's not like you're ever playing it on Turn 2 since that goes to Island / Jack / Sasaki. On Turn 3, you can already King so there's no reason to Who's Who. At least King can be an attacker afterwards. The situations where you conserve 3 extra Don by playing the cheaper option to make another meaningful play is too slim.
This guys theory with Kaido, and purple in general, had me rethink everything about how to play this color. I’ve watched/listened to this on repeat for my entire work day once I found it. Was extremely helpful and I appreciate his enthusiasm of knowing the mechanics of his deck. Would like to know his thoughts on Hitokiri Kamazo. A 4c 5k attack with 1k counter that can KO a 5c on KO for -1 DON I feel puts quite a bit of pressure against every deck during the mid game when boards are established with 3-5 drops. He’ll eat an attack and KO something, eat an effect and KO something, or against blue he goes to hand and comes right back out. The question would be where to fit it in in a build like this. Really enjoyed the vid and thank you for sharing your knowledge!
It often just gets ignored until there's nothing at risk to kill with Kamazo. It's not a great attacker at 5000 so even though it "sticks" on board, it isn't particularly overly threatening. You also can't really use it's effect early if you have no island. It's similar to 4 cost Uta and Black Maria.
As a purple player this video is literally a god send lol. Amazing explanations and breakdowns. Only thing I might disagree with is his opinion on the film cards. Uta is a blocker that can’t be easily sent back or rested as easily as the 2 cost blockers and can block two cards for one against red. I’ve been running 2 Bullet as well and it’s won me many games. Oh also I think Orochi is a lot better for a 2k counter than Ulti because you can play it turn 1 to swing into green searchers or small red attackers. At the end of the day though I think some things just come down to preference and what you’re comfortable playing with. Great video and thank you for uploading!
its clear that for kevin FILM cards are not wirth it for this decks, but what does he think about impel down cards coming for OP02? ty for this video, its huge.
Great video!! Special shoutout to the cameraman for holding the video for about an hour straight for this in-depth explanation...you're the real MVP

Are those double sleeves?
Inner sleeve and then standard size sleeve?
like kevin fashion 1 hour explanation
i didnt know there was a One Piece card game.. do they make new decks for every arc ?
They’re coming, they’ve only done 5 sets so far the others come out 3/10 big moms set and others come out in July I think
Ramp:
4x onigashima
4x Jack ramp
4x Sasaki ramp
Wincons:
4x Babanuki
4x Queen
4x King KO 4-drop
1x King KO 2 cards
2x Urashima
2x Kaido 9-cost
3x Kaido 10-cost
Defensive cards:
8x blockers
3x Blast Breath
4x X.Drake
3x Ulti
How will this change with set 2 dropping?
Usually people either mix impel down or just add Shiki
So he had 47 cards total ? What's the minimum?
These one piece players need to learn to spread out their deck lists all at once
