Hi, I wonder if anyone is checking these comments... It's 2023 and I just bought a pair. All is good except for the flex adjustment screws. They don't appear to do anything except lock the upper in place. I would like a little more lean/flex from these boots. Is there an option?
Hey man, I left a comment on your other video about heating these boots for customization but maybe it's better to leave it here. What temperature and time is required for heat molding Hero 130 from the 15/16 season? It's the same PE plastic as the one in your video so any help would be great! Thanks!
Hey mate, So the Rossi hero's are not technically heat moldable. You may get a little bit out of them if you get them hot, but the risk is for sure that any expansion you get may retract back. Anyway I would suggest getting them extra hot, I would say 100-120C for about 12-15 mins. But even better and for a definitive result, manual stretching would be a better choice :)
@@PatriotFootbeds Thanks a lot for the info. As I need some room in the instep area, I would put some hard foam or maybe even cork over my foot when molding so maybe that would do the trick. There should be no problems with boot functionality if I heat them that high? I thought that nowadays every boot is moldable, guess I was wrong :D Just out of curiosity, is every PE plastic not moldable or it's just this boot that is not good for molding? On the other hand, is every PU boot moldable (speaking of newer generation boots of course)?
