- The NEW Rossignol 2023 ski boot range has dropped at Footpro. We take a look at what 'has' or 'has not' changed with the Rossignol Hero World Cup 110 Medium in the new Meteor Grey colour.
what are your thoughts on booster straps for this model? I'm thinking of getting them but I'm not sure how useful they'll be...
Booster straps are good addition to most ski boots INO. Yep, we would expect them to work really well on these.
Still worth buying today ? I just bought them, they are comfy and seem great. The older version I mean
100% agree. The version from the previous season and the current season are more or less the same boot, but different colours.
my ski shop told me the 110 flex was the equivalent of a ~125 since it's a World Cup racing model. what do you think? if no, should I get the flex increased? I do racing
Thanks for sending us your question. Your ski shop is correct in suggesting that the 110 Flex rating in this ski boot may be more like a 120ish in another all-mountain boot. That said, there will some all-mountain ski boots in the market that also feel pretty stiff for a 110 rating.
Ski boot stiffness rating are unlikely to ever be standardised which results in Flex Ratings being debatable, and more of an approximate guide to the stiffness of a ski boot.
Worth noting: This particular ski boot can be de-tuned to a slightly softer flex by adjusting the screw / rivet positioning on the rear spine of the boot.
@@Footpro_Australia thank you so much for your really quick answers !
Is there a ski boot that has a wide toe box? I have a Mortons Neuroma and cannot have my toes squished.
Great question Dave. Short answer is no. Find the Ski boot experts in your nearest city or ski resort and discuss this with them. With the right experience a good ski boot fitter should be able to find a ski boot that gets close to achieving the fit you need, then blow-out the toe box with shell stretching modifications to give you fore-foot the space is needs. It can be done. Cheers mate!
@@Footpro_Australia thanks... About time someone does though..
