I bought the 2025 Lange RS 130 mv last week. first impressions are great, very robust and responsive with something comfortable. I came from Atomic hawks prime and the fit in 100 mm was perfect for me. It's agressive so pay attention to the ski you'll clip them because you could feel your skis don't follow them at speed. Tested with Mantra M6, 5% lower than me (a bit too small) and I recommend it for very good/expert skiers in quest of speed, responsiveness and comfort.

I generally have fitting problems with bunions/wide forefoot of my right foot. Might an RS MV work for me, despite the tighter fit overall? Or will I be better off looking at the Shadow (I suppose I just have to try both). Unfortunately a real problem finding RS's down here in the DC area. My main ski shop doesn't carry them, just Shadows.
Don't get hung up on the exact last mm, with a "base last" of the MV being a 100mm last in the reference 26.5 and adjusting up and down from there, it still will coem down to how it its your foot. As I said in the video I usually ski the RX in an LV, I went to the MV in this new boot. Try them on and see what works for your foot.
He says "more generous fit profile" yet fit's more closely alligned with WC boot insofar as reducing overall volume. So I guess on the one hand the more generous fit profile is why you got the MV but it's somehow still a bit lower volume than the old RS MV? Did you get the new RS 130 MV Phil? How do you like the RS off trail. I have a newish pair of 2016 RX 130's (had them in the closet until 2 seasons ago) with 2023 liners which are in decent shape but am looking for an upgrade. I know the RS has stiffer foam so am thinking it won't pack out as fast. Comfort is less a concern than performance and do a fair amount of skiing on piste on EC but still like bumps and spring snow.
Yes, the new RS splits the Shadow (and old RS) with the WC boot in fit. I am sking the MV all over the mountain and found no looseness in the fit off piste.

SO the 120 flex LV last comes in a 23.5 now with a regular height cuff not the short cuff? That would be perfect.
Sorry, the 120 LV will start at a 24.5, if you are at a 23.5, then it will be the SC.
It would be great to show the liner as well to make an idea about it versus just showing the shell.
New Shells shortened all the way (mean inside), or only to the outer length?

Without knowing or seeing your foot, we would have no idea.
How does the ‘25 RS LV 130 compare in volume to the Tecnica Mach 1 LV 130?
The Lange definitely has more room over the instep for one.
