What I love the most of seeing Phoebe play is how her gestures, although timid, say so much in certain phrases.

She just did it on Jimmy Kimmel Live & it was the first I'd ever heard of her. Made me cry. There are a lot of negative comments about the violin on the JKL performance, but I personally love it. I also love this version. Glad I found her.

I always said I’d never listened to Phoebe Bridgers, but then I realized after watching this that I had heard almost all of these songs at some point and loved them, but didn’t keep note. IT ALL MAKES SENSE. Amazing
I saw some people talking about the lyric "But you know the killer doesn't understand."
And I think it's a really beautiful lyric, not only because the way in which she sings it is so soft; resigned, almost. But because its something that can be interpreted in so many ways. It's ambiguous in a way, because when you listen to it, you can reflect whatever you want onto it. It just depends on how you might interpret the whole song. it makes a direct juxtaposition with one of the first lyrics. it's genius.
