I have known this music for many years now. This recording is a bit slow but it is still beautiful. I am nearly 74 years old now and four days ago my daughter died at home of cancer aged 47. I am heart broken and totally devastated my only hope is she is in a better place no. This is for you my darling Elisabeth.

David Gunn, I sincerely hope that this music will console you, though only a little. I lost my girl last year, she was only 14. The times ahead will be heavy and dark for you , there is no way around that. But I experienced that over time the sharpest edges of grieve and despair wear off. Gradually there will be room for reliving the many happy memories you have with her. Allow yourself to mourn, stay strong. Peace to you.

In this series I’m narrating events and miracles from the splendid life of Don Bosco. St John Bosco used to perform a miracle almost every day, through the intercession of Mary Help of Christians. @@josephzammit8483 Intercession of Mary? Mary does not intercede anymore than Elijah or Moses does in our lives. They are only humans, full of faults and errors. All have fallen short. I don't worship Mary, nor pray to her statue. That's worshipping a false idol. I only pray to the Father in the name of His Son, Jesus, who is God made flesh. The only way to the Father is through the Son, not Mary and the Son.

@@christianosvaleriusaureliu9950 Not just Mary, but the blood of David and all the way back to Adam. It's to prove He is heir to the throne by lineage, including Joseph. Should we make statues of their likeness too, put them on an altar and start praying to them as well? How can you not see that's idolatry, my friend? We don't need Mary to intercede on our behalf, we have Jesus for that. Nowhere in scripture does it say to pray to Mary. Even Jesus taught us how to pray, and His mother was never mentioned.

In regards to intercession it's written many places in the bible. Here's one:
“I appeal to you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf” (Rom. 15:30)

@@BrotherChad That is not true. Continuing to live in willful sin after receiving the Saviour is like stepping on Jesus' blood. Paul was clear about the fact that we must deny our fleshly desires every day and that we shouldn't keep sinning because we are under grace. It's impossible to make this change ourselves but with God everything is possible. Read the word of God by yourself instead of trusting men and pray to Jesus that he may lead you unto the narrow path. Jesus warned us that most people are going into the path of destruction and few will find life.

JESUS died for our sins on the cross, HE shed HIS holy, innocent , precious blood for us (HIS blood washes away ALL sins) HE was buried but on the third day GOD raised HIM from the dead.
