    Oh, my goodness! This sounds very similar to what I would hear, when, as a child, I would be out in the oats field by myself pulling weeds. Often I would try to tell my mom I heard the angels singing and how beautiful was the sound!! Yes, the birds sang, too but it was as if they were also responding to this incredible music. Thank you for this amazing visit back to my childhood and affirmation what I heard really exists!

    From France, God bless you all, in the Holy Church of Christ, whatever area you are from (orthodox, catholic, evangelic, messianic...) pray for conversion, pray for the return of Jesus, pray for all those suffering. Thank you God for those voices from paradise.

      @phaulsgawds9945 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      *************pray for conversion, pray for the return of Jesus, pray for all those suffering.
      Prayer is useless and illogical. You believers tell us that god has a perfect plan that everything must adhere to. So, if he has a perfect plan, are you praying to remind him to do what he has planned, or are you praying to make him change his divine mind with a perfect plan? If you are praying for what he has planned, that is useless... and if you are praying against that which he has planned, again, that is useless.
      Prayer has been studied by both scientific and religious organizations... and in all studies, prayer has had no effect over that of random chance... and in the case of intercessory prayer, ie: praying for healing of others, it had no effect on those being prayed for, unless they knew they were being prayed for, in which case, they did worse, health wise, than those who did not know they were being prayed for.
      Prayer is like mental masturbation; like he who masturbates to an image of a sexy woman, he feels good doing it, but does absolutely nothing for the object of his fantasy... same goes for prayer, the one praying may feel good, but the prayer does absolutely nothing for the object of the prayer...

      **************let us all unite in Heavenly love
      Yeah... too bad the vast majority of xtians have no idea what love is... unless 'heavenly love' equals judgment and hate of those who are othered by your religion.
      We also have no good convincing evidence that gods, any gods, exist.

    • @ericphilip5058
      @ericphilip5058 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@phaulsgawds9945 First of all i agree with you that many so Called Christians fall short of the love that Jesus Christ talked and preached about in the bible , the reasons are multiple but to put it shortly in his own words it all turns around humility , self- denial, and acceptance of the others which Jesus put it simply < to carry the cross and follow him> now obviously these acts are not easy to adopt as they usually go against our self centered Ego, thus not so many Christians do really carry their crosses and REALLY follow Jesus, one the other hand there are who pretend to be following Jesus but are not ready to pay the price and this explains what you mentioned about Christians who have no idea what love is .
      The second point you also mentioned i agree with you about Judgement is that many focus on the punishments that await others, now yet again that is in sharp contrast to what Jesus Christ preached in the bible not to judge anyone, he gave us multiple examples of forgiveness, acceptance, understanding other points of views and simply loving others, now how many are following really his teachings ? not so many! but why? well because it is not easy to do so yet it is definitely possible .
      The third point you mentioned about no good evidence of the existence of God, yet it remains to be clarified that how did all this magnificent Creation come to exist with all these endless details, superb designs that could never come to exist on its own randomly? order can not come out of chance, there is a remarkable order of design that points to the existence of a creator.
      Finally thank you for your Comment.

    • @phaulsgawds9945
      @phaulsgawds9945 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ericphilip5058
      ************** Jesus put it simply < to carry the cross and follow him>
      Yes, exactly… the bible sets up an impossible benchmark that you are all supposed to follow, and since it is nigh impossible for any regular human to achieve said benchmark, you fail, as was the plan, which makes one feel less worthy and more of a sinner (i.e.: the poisoned lie these religions perpetrate, telling you that you are broken or sick and then they demand you get well, using their cure or antidote). It is the perfect way to control a population… you strive to achieve the impossible goal, you fail, you double down on trying to achieve again, fail again, and so on and so forth. These faiths tell you that this is the ONLY way to do it… to get to the good place and avoid the bad place… the veritable ‘carrot and the stick’… and the world’s most successful religions have used this method to some extent. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it… they borrow from each other.
      ******* i agree with you about Judgement is that many focus on the punishments that await others
      Yes.. again, part of these false ideologies… if I can catch another being naughty, I can maybe deflect attention from my ‘sins’ or maybe I am looking to gain brownie points…. Again, very harmful thinking instilled by these faiths.
      *********** yet it remains to be clarified that how did all this magnificent Creation come to exist with all these endless details, superb designs that could never come to exist on its own randomly?
      You are seeing design where there is no evidence that design is required. We have nothing to compare to, universe to universe… we have a subset of one… we contrast design to natural because nature is NOT designed. We have evidence of how life became so diverse etc… we also have evidence of how solar systems and planets and stars are created/destroyed etc… we have a pretty good understanding of how these things form… we don’t have ALL the information, I agree… but we should not leap to answers that aren’t where the evidence leads.. and no evidence leads to gods…
      *************order can not come out of chance
      Actually, you are wrong… order can come from chaos… there are computer simulations that demonstrate this… a computer is set up with a program to pull random numbers which delineate a line length and position on a background… this is repeated over and over 1000s of times… and quite regularly, the ‘design’ created from these random events actually makes a non-random looking design… so it is possible.
      In the scenario with our universe, solar system and life… this happened.. and we are here to see it. If, however, no sentient life had been created, it would still be here, but with nothing/no one to remark and wonder on it. It is a post hoc type of thinking on this..
      ********* there is a remarkable order of design that points to the existence of a creator
      If there was a creator who designed all life etc… then he/she/it was a very bad designer. Just from our human body and perspective;
      We have vestigial organs that do nothing for us, but if they get infected, it can kill us.
      Our eating/drinking hole is the same as our breathing hole, which means we can drown/choke to death. The design whales/dolphins have is MUCH more efficient that way.
      Our eyes have a blind spot because of the design of our eyes, whereas the eyes of squid and octopi etc are more perfect than our own.
      We have what is called the recurrent laryngeal nerve, which, when it was evolved in our fishy very distant ancestors, was a trip of about an inch or so… but since in our earlier fish architecture, it went from the brain, around the heart and to the organ that in us is our larynx, when our necks started to lengthen, as our species evolved, this had to get longer and longer… now, in our human form of today, this is a 3’ length…. And the most extreme example, the giraffe, since all animals have this nerve… it goes about 15’ in length… from the brain of the giraffe, down the neck, under that aortic arch, and back up to the larynx…
      Do we call those ‘intelligent or good design’?? I think not… that is the work of the worst kind of designer… and supposedly this being you call god is supposed to be perfect. However, these attributes listed above are exactly what one would expect of a slow evolutionary change over vast amounts of time… since nothing is created from scratch but adapted to continue… so one is very likely to see an organ stop having a function but still there in vestigial form… we did not go into the seas as a species, so that original design of having our esophagus share a common route with our lungs etc… this makes more sense and is an elegant explanation of how things came to be the way they are. Putting ‘god’ in as the answer does not really answer any of our questions.. it actually stops one from questioning.
      For example: our earlier ancestors wondered where lightning came from.. the answer at the time was ‘god’… it is an answer, a very poor one, but an answer… and people stopped asking. However, it didn’t satisfy some and they eventually discovered what causes it… and it wasn’t ‘god’… but imagine if that was satisfactory to all… we would still believe it, even though we now know that we were ignorant of the actual answer. Expand this out to EVERYTHING previously answered with ‘god’… imagine living in that world where we had no medicine, no technology, no science, and only abject fear of the world around us and the ‘god’ that we supposedly believed created it all.
      As for creation of everything… if he/she/it was responsible for it all, they are also responsible for every poisonous and deadly thing, every disease, including covid-19 and the little worm that can only exist by eating through the eye of humans and animals etc.. cancer, HIV, SARS, ebola, etc… are all his/her/its creations too… earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunami, hurricanes, tornados, volcanoes etc etc etc…
      ***********Finally thank you for your Comment.
      And thank you for being civil and respectful in your reply... a surprise to me compared to 'debating' with your fellow theists.

      We must learn to understand people. Music is like acquiring the taste of edibles. We learn to like and dislike what we hear, see, taste, and feel when we are babies and throughout our youth, as we grow. When we age, our memories of beauty as we have become accustomed will recall what we have enjoyed during our childhood and on into eternity, perhaps. I could not imagine the horror of enduring today's music most commonly played on the radio forever; a sentence of eternal punishment.

A heavy silence as I walk down the aisle towards the tabernacle where not only is the Shroud of Turin draped over the wooden cross, but the relics of numerous saints lie embedded within the Altar Table. Although they are both sung a cappella, (sans instruments, and translated literally: "of the chapel") this is not Gregorian Chant; It's Orthodox choral-style, polyphonic music. This is Russian, Tchaikovsky. Gregorian is set to Latin and is completely monophonic, one unison voice ONLY, otherwise it is not Gregorian Chant, in the strict sense (in spite of corruptions, organ overlays, singing in octaves sometimes labled Gregorian) . The Western Church equivalent of what you are listening to here is called Sactred Polyphony, based on Chant.

    I spend a lot of time watching worthwhile videos that I come across on TH-cam. Many of them are basically secular in nature, dealing with topics such as philosophy, history, politics, social issues and the like, but I can honesty say that I don't EVER remember encountering a YT video which contained more commercial ads than this one.
    Sadly, I had to leave this wonderful page because the beautiful content was interrupted WAY too many times by these ads. This is made even worse by the fact that the commercials were inserted into the video seemingly at random, often right in the middle of a heavenly melody. This has the negative effect of canceling the elevated mood that was inspired by the music, causing me to feel even worse than I felt before clicking on this video.
    In my opinion this is more than just objectionable - it is positively obscene. Only God can say that something is a sin, but I daresay that posting this exceptionable music video with a plethora of commercials pitching products that are all allegedly "taking the world by storm" comes pretty darn close.

      ************Except that we have repeated accounts of men who witnessed them, and died horrendous deaths in defense of the truth.
      Actually, no.. we have 'stories' of this happening, and if we are to believe the historians and theologians etc., it would only be two who we have any record of... Peter and Paul who were martyred. The others are just church legend... the only other we know about is Stephen but he was not killed for his religion, so he does not count as a martyr.
      However, this is not the only cult where members who 'witnessed' stuff, whatever that stuff was, were martyred for THEIR beliefs, so why is that any different from those who were duped into believing way back when vs in more modern times. Same shit, different pile, really... no??
      ***********We also have relics of visitations
      I don't understand what you are claiming in this phrase... please elucidate.
      ************and records of prophecies come true.
      When those who have access to the prophecies WORK to make them come true, then it is not fulfilled prophecy. For example... the messiah was to come from bethlehem and also out of egypt...according to the prophecies in the OT... well... he sorta did... but in two different ways... since Matthew and Luke (if I recall) had him born in Bethlehem... but he was born there following two different narratives... one because Jo and Mary had to travel there... from wherever they lived... and in one they lived there but then had to leave to escape Herod.. so which is the correct story? And in one gospel, they fled to egypt, because the messiah was to come out of egypt.. In another case... your godling himself tells his disciples to procure two riding beasts... a pony and an ass if I recall, because the prophecy was that the messiah would enter jerusalem on the backs of two animals... so he ordered that it would be fulfilled... is that how prophecy is supposed to work? Now.. it is also said that if a prophecy does not come true, even one, then that prophet is no longer a prophet... well, there are prophecies that did NOT come true... even ones by your godling... so....???
      ***********And most of us have the witness of prayer and of life lived in obedience to God.
      That is NOT evidence... at least to anyone with any skepticism and logic. First of all, prayer has been studied and found to be no more effective than random chance... both by secular and religious authorities... you might as well pray to a telephone pole... you would get the same results... secondly, it is basically mental masturbation... it makes the one doing 'it' feel good, but does absolutely NOTHING for the object of the practice. It is literally the least you can do...
      There are other religions where the followers who pray and live their lives in obedience to their gods... does that make their gods true, then? I mean, they are doing the same things YOU are doing... so that must mean you believe THEIR god(s) exists, as well... yes??? If not, doesn't that make you a hypocrite?
