I whole heartedly believe Vimoh's viewpoint. This practice was already executed in Cambodia with Pol pot perfectly. His sole purpose of the rule was to control the people and dominated each and every free voices.
He has a huge God complex. When his supporters see him as a God, why wouldn't he feel he isn't one.

Vimoh is right in that he wants to control the frame and not be seen as a figure that can be questioned..
But one thing we must remember is how he used to behave in the past when facing non-godi interviewers. He is very uncomfortable and unable at a personal level to deal with challenging questions which can be followed up rigorously. Apart from the famous Karan thapar interview, there is also a very telling interview with a reporter on a helicopter during his CM days.
He has a very high narcissistic personality disorder and megalomania. These traits make it very hard for him to emotionally face up questions. He is capable of answering it, but it probably stresses the hell out of his ego. And that is why he said he learnt a lesson "how I must handle the media" (BBC doc). He has done exactly that, completely disempowered the media.
And people will still say "jo bhi kar lo ayega to modi hi". I am waiting for these people to arrive in comments.

I'd say it's still very tough to beat BJP in the upcoming election-
Even the opposition is unable till now to bring a strong leader to tackle BJP. Opposition instead of making strong strategies to overthrow BJP, they are engaging themselves in their own personal grudges and due to this BJP is getting more field to firm their stance. It will be really problematic if it continues even in 2029 as until now opposition is unable to rise back and its really worrisome.

Every questions that media has, those answers are given by the respective ministers.

I find his interviews and speeches scripted.
Because those are actually scripted and all those people why are in that position do scripted one only. In this age n days of short clips those scripted but well crafted interviews are best not real unscripted interviews But the problem is that human eye can find that also bjp supporters know that as well but the other strategy of bjp Kicks which make them not caring much about these scripted interviews
