  • South Africa: Ramaphosa Asks Parties to Find "Common Ground" to Form Coalition | Firstpost Africa
A bruising election for the African National Congress has pushed South Africa to a coalition era for the first time in 30 years. Despite the ANC being rejected by over half the country, President Cyril Ramaphosa will not step down. In a speech after the election result, President Ramaphosa called on political parties to overcome their differences and find common ground to form the first national coalition government. The final tally gave the African National Congress (ANC) 159 seats in the 400-seat national assembly. ANC says it hopes to achieve a coalition deal as fast as possible. The Democratic Alliance (DA) leader John Steenhuisen repeated his pledge to work with the ANC. Meanwhile, Zuma supporters say they won't join a coalition unless there is an agreement to pardon the graft-tainted former president for a 2021 conviction that saw him banned as a parliamentary candidate.

DA now sounds like Dizzy Africans because they are the ones who started that moonshot nonsense against the anc now from nowhere there's " Doom nonsense because blacks finally realized that, no one wants to be associated as good brothers with an intention of getting power through the back door... Why are they not calling for a recount as they have been implicated in vote rigging via aunty Janet Love who's known for vote rigging in the DRC

Should the ANC and the DA form a coalition, it would be as big as 1994. It would bring a united structure with Johannesburg and Capetown connected to each-other in politics.. A lot of things outside of South-Africa requires common grounds between these parties.. Mk, EFF, is to much of a doomsday thread.. Always grumpy, remember Julius saying, "I don't mind white people, but don't call me a boy." Julius rather take the guy to court, than to stir up South-Africa with your Tik-Tok account and your beast mode face... EFF and the MK party must lower the spears and join in a peaceful manner without threads of taking houses and looting business. Under Zuma and Malema the most strikes and looting was stirred up the last 15 years.. A lot of damages was caused by your strikes . Strike Kings. Student up-rise Kings..

Where do you get this Political Analyst, this is a DA analyst. When you analyse you talk from a position of neutralism. The economy is still white and when DA and ANC colude then nothing changes, I want change even if we become Venezuela, at least I would be seeing change.
