I just envisioned the residents of Narnilla watching this little red car squealing its way around the corners, swinging its rear out as it tries too hard to get round the other way, and they start calling the 750 Competizione the Piglet. (edit) Or - in Fruinia - the Porcellino.
I like the idea of pigs being a somewhat central idea. As a farmer, maybe they liked pigs a lot growing up, and saw them as good companions? Instead of bulls or horses, maybe a clean show pig would be the desired animal.

I'd like to add something to your notes for later car ideas. In 1969, a hotel and casino founder asked Enzo Ferrari for a four-wheel drive Ferrari, and Enzo refused. I started a similar campaign, but at a lower difficulty level and with a fake Porsche 356. But I immediately couldn't resist the special racing version.

There is a perfectly solid reason behind this and I can explain a bit more in detail in the next video. Here a short summary: There still is plenty of usable power beyond the max power rpm. If you would shift up at max power rpm, you would land in a region of very low power after the gear shift, really bogging the car down. Revving 1k rpm higher, you land several hundred rpm higher in the next gear, immediately with more torque and power at hand. This will make you quicker on the track as well. You can see this in any real-life engine power chart: it does not end at the max power rpm. I hope it makes sense!

About the oversteer (from someone that doesnot know this game mechsnics/intricasies): does having the spare wheel behind the rear axle contribute to it? (Pendulum-effect). Cheers. Very entertaining.
In Automation itself, fixtures are only cosmetic and have no effect on the vehicle's behavior. In Beam, fixtures to have a little bit of mass, but not as much as a real wheel would have. Most of the oversteer is likely coming from the solid rear axle and skinny cross-ply tires.
Adding another 0.5 kg to the car. Damn it! I guess we need them in the future unfortunately - so they will probably be part of the facelift to get the car homologated in Dalluha in 1950.
hey man, i dont wanna bother or anything, i saw you seem to know alot of the automation stuff, im trying to learn as it is my first time modding in beamng, could you tell me how do you make multiple trims for a single car? as in how would i go about making configs for an automation car? i just cant find any simple to follow tutorial on this
Hey, sorry but I am not an expert in Beam modding! What I do to have multiple Automation trims in one Beam mod is to just copy the contents of both exports (unzipped exports) into a single folder, then zip it up afterwards. This also seems to work when you want to put multiple Automation models into a single Beam mod.
It is not scheduled yet. After the game had a few bugs earlier this week, I only started recording today. Maybe I cam finish the video during the weekend, maybe not. If not, it will be released next weekend, as I am busy with work next week!
The next engine upgrade will be a 1.1 liter engine, as this was the next typical class of engine sizes in sportscar racing. 950 cc would be a disadvantage then :) I plan to do a proper grille for the next facelift as well!
Be kind of cool if you could incorporate your viewers or something like that, they could tell you what you should be able to research or something like that like do a pole on your community channel I’d be awesome
You can always suggest something in the comments! I read all of them and can pick whatever I think suits and contributes to the lore I have in mind. I do not want to limit your creativity by only giving you a few options in a poll, while I also cannot promise to follow all suggestions!
To be a contrarian, I feel like it would've been more interesting if you went with a relatively much bigger engine with fewer cylinders, as well as optimize it more regardless of "the times" because 50hp per liter is sad, and so is only 7000rpm from a 750cc 4 cylinder. If it were a 1.2-1.5L 3-cylinder with 80-100hp at 7500rpm, that would've been perfect, lol.
Yeah, but the story for this engine was that it was based on a family car engine and there was only some improvement I could do with my non-existing budget. Engines will be more sporty in the future, see episode 3!
I just envisioned the residents of Narnilla watching this little red car squealing its way around the corners, swinging its rear out as it tries too hard to get round the other way, and they start calling the 750 Competizione the Piglet.

i want this car as an assetto corsa mod
Can you make my idea...... my idea is cisalpina 950 special..... the body of this vehicle is the facelift grille version hard top.
The next engine upgrade will be a 1.1 liter engine, as this was the next typical class of engine sizes in sportscar racing. 950 cc would be a disadvantage then :) I plan to do a proper grille for the next facelift as well!
OK......... YES!!!!!!!
AND DON'T FORGET THE NEW HEADLIGHTS.
I do not want to limit your creativity by only giving you a few options in a poll, while I also cannot promise to follow all suggestions!
when's part 3?
Hopefully by the end of this weekend! Editing has started, but I am slow :D
I say lose the rivits and start welding
But.... after u are in 1982, u can join group c or later, and make a road legal version later in 1988 or 1986
Yeah I will keep an eye on suitable racing regulations!
@@the.bavarian ok
@@the.bavarian Ok. U can search What was the regulation for group c. Oh yeah, group c will end in 1994, so keep an eye on the group c, ok?
@the.bavarian...... DON'T FORGET THE HEADLIGHTS
The amount of detail that goes into these cars is unbelievable
