My grandpaw used to do this. He would buy the gun in the single sticks and roll a whole piece up. Then he would take a stick and make a small hole in their trail and drop the rolled up stick of gum in their pathway. He was successful with it so idk I always wondered how in the world this came to be a method of getting rid of those aggravating critters (I’m not sure if you can still buy the sticks of gum anymore or not or if it’s all bubble gum)
Our intent isn’t to rain on anyone’s parade, while we didn’t get the moles to eat the gum doesn’t mean that they never will. Maybe in the right conditions it could work. Glad that someone has had success when we didn’t. Thanks for watching!
@@pestcontrolguys heck ya never know it might work in one area and not the other or something too. Maybe your ground moles like trident or hubba bubba. Ha ha thanks guys keep up the great work
Hilarious. We put 1/2 stick in many places in the tunnels. After three weeks, no new tunnels. Not sure why you're digging up your placements trying to prove a negative. Haven't seen a tunnel in over three months. My son does pest control. He doesn't want to believe it, too. 🤣
I don’t know if it kills them or if they try it and hate it then leave. So maybe if you implant the smell every few feet around the perimeter of your yard, like termite treatments? I used a whole piece as did the one person I told to try it, just one mole and they were both gone never to be seen again.
I was told by a 80 year old you have to wear vinyl gloves before unwrapping juicy fruit gum and squashing each piece into a ball, otherwise the moles wont eat it cause it has human hand sweat smell over it- he said it works in his yard, why would the old fellow lie? you guys have human scent all over your bitty pieces.
Nice job guys! Thanks for the update. Looking forward to see the real fix in action.
This was a fun one for us. Getting geared up for the next myth now.

Worked for me!!! Half acre back yard and the Juicy Fruit WORKED! Sorry guys
Squirrels have bad breath..hilarious
Classic Ryan!
Well, they ARE always eating nuts…. 😂
Ryan’s bad breath…gone!
Has earthy tones in his breath now!
Omg 😂 11:57 is peak pest control content. Eating the gum for the mole. You sir get a 10/10. And interesting final end results for this test.
We couldn’t cut that part out for sure. Ryan will be Ryan!
Hmmm, use the gum for ant bait instead of the tube stuff, lol.
If only it would kill ants, we’d be sitting on a gold mine!
@@pestcontrolguys well, they could get tooth decay and won’t be able to eat, idk, lol.
💯 % MYTH!!!😊
Looks that way!
If you touch the gum with your hands it wont work
@@3dbunkers yes, we did it with gloves in the next test. Thanks for watching!

It could be a repellent for sure.

@@No2ndHandInfo yes, we resolve that in the next episodio. Thanks for watching!
Why am I watching this ? I don't have gofers. BTW if you see a gofer riding a jet skis let me know. Or anything else 😮😂
We need to make that happen!
