    My immediate and genuine reaction to the title IS THERE ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD?!!
    y'all the Holy Spirit took OVER 🤣

    Wow! Relax into it, God's got you! Trust God through the process. I learnt a lot. Thanks for this, Team Magnify.

    That point at Abike said, to step back and watch him grow. It can be so hard to see someone and want them to be in God, but we want to see our partners grow because they want to grow and because they want a godly wife.
    Really great questions too, TeamMagnify

      So many gems dropped by Abiké and Sandra! In particular that perspective that Abiké shared on stepping back gave us lots to think about!

    @51:54 "Relax into it, God's got you" Amen I needed that
    My list has pretty shortened : integrity, attractiveness, humor and Christian. I'm in this proces now: what do I need to do to attract him and improve myself to be ready.
    I love how:
    - Sandra's hubby took her debt like his burden
    - Sandra explained how her emotional baggage resurfaced early on in her marriage
    - they also talked about green flags, settling for "great" instead of good.

    I listened to this conversation and learnt more than about just Lovin relationship. I learnt to not put a list on God in any situation (of the things I ask of Him)in my life, but to know what things are not of Him so that I don't chase away the goodness God has for me because of selfish desires caused by the flesh.
    I really enjoyed watching this. Thank you so much and God bless you ladies

    Very positive conversation. It's refreshing to see black women in such healthy relationships (I know there are many more but the media tends to focus on the negative). Big up to Abike for intentionally breaking a harmful family cycle in this area.

    Thank you so much for this beautiful conversation. I wept and wept again, it felt like these sisters' words carried healing for my heart. To God be all the glory. I have also learned a few lessons I will apply in my life as a woman waiting for her husband. Thank you for being open and vulnerable---it goes a long way in this world we are living in where everything is polished to look pleasing. I appreciate the sharing of genuine life stories from this channel. May God continually use this channel to touch lives. Beautiful---Beautiful.

    Really liked this video and thought there was a lot of wisdom in it. Only point I disagree with is where the host said it's much easier to leave a toxic relationship than a good relationship - I think this downplays how much trauma bonding and manipulation there can be in toxic relationships and how hard they can be to get out of. You might look back with relief but the actual decision to leave can be just as hard as leaving a healthy relationship.

    • @Magnifycollective
      @Magnifycollective  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      We're so glad you enjoyed this conversation! Thank you for highlighting the fact that toxic relationships bring a different point of view and nuance to this conversation. We appreciate you sharing your perspective and hope to continue a conversation around this in a future episode. With Love, Team Magnify xx
