There's a Sheffield United as well as a former part-time industrial team named Sheffield Wednesday that was based on the only day of the week that the team could play professionally.
Likewise there's an Oxford City who were a National League club last season. Cambridge City also had an opportunity to join the Football League in the 1930s, decades before United did, but turned it down. Nothing wrong with the topic, but they should have just literally used clubs with all suffixes, e.g. Blackburn Rovers, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Plymouth Argyle.
This episode made a mistake about Top 40 DJ hits. According to a show, Chris Tarrant was a wipeout compared to Steve Wright. Wright only got 2 Top 75 hits compared to Tarrant who went to the Top 40 as a member of the Bucketeers in 1980. Thickos!
Blimey, this Primetime version of Wipeout looks terrible! Thank goodness that it got revamped in 1998 when it moved to Daytime; I grew up with the Bob Monkhouse era anyway.
I prefer this over the Monkhouse version, as Bob used to give away the answers before they were revealed.
This version is so much better than that terrible Bob Munkhouse version, I liked Bob but he got a raw deal hosting that show
Ian flemming last words were "im sorry to troubled you chaps"
Interesting that there actually is a Cambridge City, as well as a Cambridge United, although admittedly City are a non-league team…

I hate this show. That prat doesn't deserve it.
It was just unlucky that he got a question at the end that most men could get in a one-r
