Love these videos! Really appreciate the view you have with this research. Now, sadly, I just put up an ASM252 for sale … guess I should’ve done it a week earlier!! 😂. Keep ‘em coming!
Issue Number 1 of evil Ernie had a print run of around 9,000 copies an issue 2 and 3 were print runs around 6,500 so for modern book kind of rare I still think for long-term investment this is a great book to own if you're willing to hold onto it for 10-15 years
I have a raw direct Xmen 266 and I just bought a cgc 9.6 direct of this for $250 on auction. I have multiple raws of SW 8 both direct and newsstand and an unpressed 9.6.
Great video, have an Uncanny #266 but it’s a newsstand 8.0. Because of grade I got it for way less but it’s an old cgc case so i might crack it and take a chance. Don’t worry about the first commenter, obviously someone who doesn’t like data driven choices.
Good info. I thought the downside would have been much larger based on how it “feels” like copper age books skyrocketed from the boom more than others.
Man, I’ve got to be honest. I feel like as I buy an pay attention to sales of books I buy down the road a lot of books keep coming down in price at the grade point I’ve bought them at… I’m referring to silver age an Bronze Age books. An it’s making me nervous on pulling the trigger on any books any time soon. I bought an ff 49 in 4.0 a month ago for $700, an just seen it go in the fives last week on heritage. I’ve noticed that 48 was $1,000 per point or close to it a year ago, an I just seen one on instagram from elite comics in 5.0 for $1,500. I’ve noticed a bunch of others in those two ages doing the same. Blades keys, Daredevils, even Hulks 181’s, giant size X-men 1’s. An many more coming down…. How much farther could these big books drop?! I’m afraid to tackle them right now…
Yeah, I think it’s book to book. Some probably don’t have much (if any) to fall, others could drop another 20-30%. The estimates here can’t guarantee anything, but they can at least help give an idea where that book might level off.
Are you trying to sell evil Ernie issues just wondering. Also saw a saw 10 variant with a chopped off leg which makes me wonder if a comic code authority is needed it was really disturbing
I just picked up 2 copies of X-Men#266 for $5.00 each but I also got one of my grail books a few weeks ago AMS#129 CGC 5.0 and now I just gotta get the rest of my grail books TMNT#1, X-Men#1 1963,Hulk#181 and Cerebus#1 and my comic book collection is complete.

I got my Xmen 266 back with grade of 9.2. It was newsstand copy signed by Chris Claremont and Joe Ruebenstein.
Awesome list. I watched the top 5 list first. I would also be curious to see what the picks would be for 11-20..maybe an idea for a future video?
I wonder how many of those blue labels are newsStand which could account for a difference in price in today’s market
Good video lots of info going over to the fanalytic to watch part 2
Appreciate it, thanks 👍

So many good deals out there right now
These videos are awesome. So helpful and great analysis. Gives some numbers to the art of comic collecting. Which is both an art and science 😉
Appreciate it, thanks!
I like the method and analysis, its relevant and simple to follow.
Glad to hear, thanks 👍

Thanks! I’m not worried about him in the least =). His loss not getting the chance to win the giveaway 🤷♂️
Love these data videos! I've copied your method for some of my own research 😊

How would you price the Swamp Thing 37 CGC 9.6 with a remark and 3 signatures(all of the artists)?
For the first time in 6 months, my CLZ database went up in value according to Cover Price.
Nice!
I’ve got the X-men and Secret Wars, both raw. I really don’t know what the grade would be though. Hoping to pick up the Hulk someday.

If I was, this video wouldn’t help lol. I’m literally telling people not to buy it right now.
@@AutomaticComicsHe must've not seen the entire video.
I have an Evil Ernie in that grade and might go after a higher grade if it drops more.
Not controversial, 266 is the money book and first app in actual timeline
