We live in the Appalachian Hills of TN on the lake, and when we moved in 4 yrs. ago we found that we had a pair of Osprey and they've returned to their nest every season now, we also have Great Horned Owls, different types of Hawks and watched a Bald Eagle catch a fish 3 days ago and consume it on the shore! We also have 2 large house cats that we had to fence in the covered porch for so they wont become prey to any of these Beautiful Raptors by day nor night. At least we know that we live in an healthy ecosystem. We are in the boonies where these woods are teaming with life. Thank you for this video friend.
Is there any way I can get the first 30 seconds of this video to use on our school morning announcements? Our mascot is the Osprey and I've been looking for video of one flying and one calling and you have both! This is an amazing video!
Great capture. Nice to hear the Osprey calling so loud and he has a lot to say! A perfect view of this wonderful bird. Greetings, Julie.
Lived in Missoula, Montana for many years. They have a distinct population of ospreys in the region and I miss them dearly

Absolutely wonderful BB! Great capture!
This is a great capture. The calls contain very high frequencies which are a bit painful 👍

Thanks! As long as you play it over a PA system for example and don't copy or re-upload it online it will be fine.
there is one of these in my school football field
What a joke of a bird call.
It’s a bird... it’s not going to have a thunderous roar like a tiger or some crap.
:( poor Osprey
