I was in middle school and was completely obsessed with Justin Bieber (I know lol) so I was kinda devastated but that was the day I started to explore her music. Now she’s one of my favorite artists and I realize how well deserved the award was. She’s a true artist and her sound is unlike any other!

This music connected all my emotions somehow, it feels so human, like blood running through my veins. What a precious way to heal people through music. Thanks Esperanza and everyone involved, lots of love!

I think that Songwrite Apothecary is, among the three last albums, the one I find more accessible whereas it touches on influences that I recognize and love such as Sun Ra and Hermeto. Long story short, I feel really glad to be alive at the point in time and space then her, this is simply too wholesome ❤❤❤
