I feel like Max just has half conscious 3am moments where he writes down video ideas and wakes up the next day reads it back and says “ah yes, that’s perfect”
As a rat owner for many years, how your head did not become Mars's toilet is a mystery to me. Also banana is rodent crack so it ending up in the final product was totally on point 😄. The only thing that would have gotten a stronger reaction is peanut butter or chocolate chips (which are not that good for them, but not toxic to them the way they are for dogs).
I’m guessing that the comment about “bladder control” at the very end their is alluding to some cut out moments that you probably wouldn’t want to include in a video about cooking lmaooo
it clearly did. He states at the end of the video that rats have no bladder control (which is true). He clearly experienced constant pee on his head and likely several poops through the experience if he knew about it.
i mean, to be fair rats do have bladder control. they very carefully control their bladder to piss on everything they love. and they can be trained to poop in a litter box. so they have control, they just choose not to use it.
Yeah yet people won't 2nd guess a hamster when choosing a small pet which are 100x more vicious than rats would ever be. Hamsters have no issue with biting you yet I've never seen a rat do anything but give little kisses
Usually people have an affinity with tiny tings. Hamsters are smaller than rats. The amount of horror stories I've heard from classmates that had hamsters though.... Never knew they were that cannibalistic@@WhittaII

I lost my little friend Ratthew 2 weeks ago, it makes me happy seeing rats in a good spotlight. They're the most adorable little creatures. I wish I would've tried cooking with him.
I want one so bad. My sister had one but she also warned me that it’s hard owning a rat because you get emotionally attached but their lifespan is only like 3 years :/
My plans today: Go for a walk, cook a roast for the family, watch the football, tidy up. Reality: Hiding in the toilet watching a man cooking with a rat on his head.

Max Fosh is the real-life version of Linguini from Ratatouille, and Mars is his very own Remy. This is pure culinary magic!
As someone who used to have pet rats, thank you so much for having this wholesome video! Rats are great pets, and have the best personalities. Thank you for showing them off!
Dan: “Let me guess, you’re training that rat to cook a delicious Ratatouille.” Max: “Am I really that predictable?” Dan: “I…don’t know how to answer that.”
Max Fosh inspires me and I'm sure many others, he does unique things from owning a roundabout to making real life ratatouille. It just shows anyone can come up with a crazy idea and it might get you somewhere. Thanks for this video Max. 🙂
That could also just be a false stereotype, similar to “being a birdbrain” and “memory of a goldfish” when birds are actually pretty smart and a goldfish does remember faces and tricks.
Fun fact, the dish from the movie isn't actually a traditional ratatouille, the dish from the movie is a variation of ratatouille called Confit byaldi created by French chef Michel Guérard.
One of my favorite pets as a child was a Chinese Hooded Rat named Gino. He was such a cuddler and I often took him to school inside of my hoodie pocket. Trained him to do all sorts of tricks with the aid of bits of whatever I was eating. He -really- liked Fruit Loops.
@@trazyianajones456 Well... Most of the girls didn't like it. I was called names due to it. Already picked on significantly, bringing Gino made it worse. That being said, there were positives. A few teachers really loved him and would give him treats before and after class. A few students enjoyed his antics too. Most of my friends loved the chubby little guy. All in all... It did not make me popular nor did it make Middle through Highschool easy. It is still a very fond memory though.
Well, he's over in the UK, so I doubt the FDA holds any power there. The FSA however might want to have a word with him if he ever tried to sell that food commercially.
As a person who has pet rats, I applaud you for training Mars!! rats can be rather difficult sometimes LOL Edit: For a quick note, I have 2 male pocket puppies!! For ANYBODY who wants to get some rats, please do extensive research.
