You're correct that Ringo was afraid of Doc. He was afraid of him ever since the cup spinning in the Saloon. To everybody else it looked like Doc was just making fun of him, but to Ringo's trained eye, he could see that Doc actually matched every move with his cup that Ringo had done with the gun.
Yeah it showed even in that state, that condition, he was a scary quick gunman. We see those spins and think neat trick, but gunmen see it and know that's a dangerous man. You can tell Ringo and Curly were gunmen, while the rest of the gang just shot a gun
I couldn't tell if you realized it or not that Wyatt, Morgan, and Virgil were all brothers. Doc was careless of his safety because he had tuberculosis, which was commonly called consumption back then and usually resulted in death.
@@MDestron2282 not everyone with tuberculosis died of it. Look at Roy Oliver Disney, older brother of Walt Disney. Roy had tuberculosis and was in a sanitorium receiving last of days care. Walt was trying to start up his animation business and needed Roy's help, Roy left the sanitorium to help his brother in 1923, and lived to the age of 78, dying from natural causes in 1971. His tuberculosis simply disappeared soon after arriving in California.
Many of the events really happened. Wyatt Earp was a real historical American figure/hero and even villain to some. That shootout when he killed the leader cowboy was over dramatized but Wyatt did reveal himself in the battle and never got hit once. In his whole life he never got hit. Kevin Costners version is longer and is a lot more historically accurate but to me, just as amazing as this movie. Doc Holiday is one of my favorite historical fighters.
You sums it up really good. Wyatt Earp was indeed sort of 'reluctant' in the sense that he REALLY did not want to have to do it, but he also REALLY never stepped back. Doc... well he was dying... and he knew it... he didn't give a fuck anymore... he just wanted to leave a mark. He was the MOST dangerous out there!

In Reality...... Baby Brother Wyatt was 4 years younger than Morgan and almost 7 years younger than Virgil. Virgil was the famed lawman gunfighter from Dodge City and tombstone. Wyatt earned the nickname "Pimp of Peoria", from his and Morgan's Brothel and Opium den. Wyatt did spend time as a lawman but was soon fired for taking advantage of his position. Eventually Wyatt beat and kicked a local man to death for being drunk and causing trouble. Wyatt was indicted for murder in Peoria and he and Morgan headed for Kansas. Virgil resigned from his position and the 3 brothers headed for the border town of Tombstone where Wyatt could cross the border into Mexico if Illinois law came looking for him. Virgil became the US Marshal and Morgan his Deputy........ while Wyatt got a job riding shotgun on the Tucson stage. Wyatt's claim to fame is that in his old age he became the Ranch cook on a Ranch that is located in present day Hollywood California. Where he became the mentor and friend of John Wayne. It was Wayne who urged Wyatt to write the story of Tombstone........ but historical public records tell a far different story of the Earp Brothers.
This movie is based on actual events and real people. The center piece of this movie is the "shootout at the O.K. Corral", about which many movies were made, but this is the best one.
Tombstone still exists. It's in Southeastern Arizona, very close to the Mexican border. As you can see in some parts of the film (which was shot on location in many instances) it is a very beautiful area with a very moderate climate. Great wine comes out of that region as well. A lot of these are "true" stories in that someone back then claimed them to be true with no way to verify. The biggest of these is probably Wyatt fighting in the creek, said to be a true story where he had bullet holes all over his duster/coat but none hit him. Whether it actually happened quite that dramatically we'll never know but it makes for great cinema.

Here's something I've always wondered. Who would last longer in a drinking and card game contest, Doc Holliday or Wild Bill Hickock? Both of them loved to drink and play cards. Wild Bill died holding two aces, two 8's and a jack, now known as the Dead Man's Hand. And in this movie, they said at one point, Doc Holliday went for 36 hours straight playing poker and getting drunk. The first time I ever saw this movie, that's the first thought I had when that part came up. Who would last longer? They are both legendary hard drinking card players.
At 31:20, again, this is why we love movie reaction videos, I got goosebumps watching their reaction, seen this film many times it's so cool to see that genuine thrill of a reaction; Doc Holliday is an American icon, though we only know so much about him Val Kilmer knocked that performance out of the park ("Why, Johnny Ringo, you look like somebody just walked over your grave") One of the best final shootouts in any modern Western, Doc was the coolest man to ever carry a six-gun, a Wild-West Anti-Hero through and through.

The town Martial is hired by the Mayor and the town Council.The town Marshal has jurisdiction within the town limits. The county Sheriff has jurisdiction throughout the county, including in the town. In practice the Sheriff lets the town law enforcement handle law violations in the town, and the Sheriff handles violations in the rest of the county, out of courtesy.
@@eq1373 That is the common practice. I speak from experience. While the Sheriff doesn't have to, for political reasons, he does. To act otherwise, would be an exception. That being said, Sheriffs are politicians. If a politically significant incident occurs, you might see that exception.

Wyatt was a real Sherrif and Doc was real person as well, he was a Dr but he got Consumption of the lungs and he was a heavy gambler. But these guys and Wyaats Brothers and the Cowboys were all real characters in life in the old west.
A great film indeed. The Cochise County Cowboys were a real entity that were dealt with by Wyatt and co. Before that they took losses after being ambushed by Mexican Rural police while smuggling rustled cattle across the border. Tombstone is quite a place to visit, we saw a reenactment of the fight and the weather was nice with monsoonal rains of August.
That was the incident that resulted in the killing of Old Man Clanton, Ike's father, who was somewhat of the ringleader of the organization before Curly Bill Brocous.
The red-sash wearing "Cowboys" would be the equivalent of a lawless gang today. Some western towns adopted a no weapons within city limits rule in order to lessen the random violence and killings. Yes, they had gun control even then. This film is loosely based on historical events.
In many ways the conflict in Tombstone was a continuation of the American Civil War. Most of the "Cowboys" were former Confederates from southern states and politically supported the Democrat party. With the Confederacy defeated in war, economically destroyed and under military rule, many poor and landless young men headed west and lived by stealing cattle from Mexico and selling them in frontier towns. The Earps were Union veterans and Republicans who went west in search of economic opportunity and started businesses. The Cowboys were more popular with the townspeople because they brought in money and spent it freely but they were rowdy and dangerous. Some historians have basically said that both groups were gangs but one group had managed to acquire badges.
Even though not completely accurate, this is based on real characters and events. Doc Holiday was actually a dentist that contracted tuberculosis. He didn't want to die from it so he adopted a life of self-destruction and became a gunfighter thinking it would kill him. But he was so good he still died from the TB. The real Wyatt had been a law man among other things that were not so legal. There's been several movies regarding the gunfight at the OK Corral. One of the earliest is "My Darling Clemintine".
In the beginning, Doc took the stacks of money (didnt steal). There were poker chips on the table, and Doc knew they wouldnt cash him out so he took the cash to cover the poker chips.
Tombstone is an actually a real small town to this very day in the State of Arizona. It is a tourist town and they do reenactments of the gunfight at the OK Corral. Doc Holliday was a very educated and he was proficient in and received classical education in rhetoric, grammer, mathematics, history and languages - principally Latin, but some French and Ancient Greek at Valdosta Institute in Valdosta, Georgia. He left his home in 1870 at the age of 19 to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to become a dentist at Pennsylvania College of Dental Surgery. On March 1, 1872 at the age of 20 he graduated in Dentistry but he did not receive his degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery until he turned 21 five months later because at 21 was the legal age to practice dentistry. Doc Holliday's mother came down with tuberculosis and she died on September 16, 1866 and he had an adopted brother who died of the same disease. Which Doc Holliday also came down with and he couldn't practice dentistry any longer so he became a heavy drinker, smoker, gambler and gunfighter. Wyatt Earp, Virgil and Morgan were brothers. Vigil was the older brother and Morgan the younger brother. And they became Marshals in the town of Tombstone, not sheriffs. John Beihan was the sheriff of the county. Even though Virgil was wounded and the loss of his use of his left arm he did become a sheriff in a town up in Northern California. William Brocius, known as "Curly" Bill Brocius was not found guilty of shooting Marshal Fred White. Marshal Fred White lived for two days and he said he believed that when "Curly" Bill shot him it was accidently and not on purpose before he died. The actual gunfight at the OK Corral only lasted 30 seconds. No more than that. Wyatt, Virgil and Morgan did go to trial for the gunfight at the OK Corral and charged for murder but they were aquitted, and not found guilty. The gunfight at the river really happened and Wyatt was not shot or wounded. The gunfight in the film between Doc Holliday and Johnny Ringo never really happened. Johnny Ringo was found dead by a gunshot wound under a tree and Doc Holliday was a suspect but Doc was some miles away in other town. Apparently Johnny Ringo committed suicide so it was ruled. Doc Holliday died of tuberculosis on November 8, 1887 at the Hotel Glenwood Springs, Glenwood Springs, Colorado. He was only 36 years old. Wyatt Earp became a technical adviser in Hollywood, California on western films during the silent film era during the late 1900's and in the 1920's. Good reaction on the film 'Tombstone'. The next one you should react to is the 1967 Spaghetti Western by Sergio Leon is 'The Good, The Bad And The Ugly' with Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef and Eli Wallach. All Spaghetti Westerns are by Italian writers, directors and producers and filmed in Italy and in Spain. The majority of the actors are Italian and Spanish, and dubbed in English for American audiences.

Tombstone was still a tiny little Ghost town when I was a kid but now lots of people live there. They still have haunted history tours of the old town and things like that. It's fun. Small Arizona Ghost Towns are some of the best in the country.
EVERY American boy knows about the Gunfight At The OK Corral. All the major points of movie are true. Arizona was not yet a state, it was a territory. The small town had a town sheriff, a chief of police and a federal marshall, all contesting for power and had their supporters and detractors.
"Room Service" means ordering dinner from the hotel restaurant and having them bring it to you so you can eat it in your room. The idea here is that it's expensive and a little bit lazy, like a luxury, and it implies that you're travelling because you're in a hotel.

Not random. All these people are famous old west America. I grew up playing as a kid pretending I was various old west characters. Doc was one of my favorites to pretend.

He was so feared that criminals would warn other criminals to "get the hell out of Dodge". It is still a phrase that's used when you don't like a certain situation. I HATE western movies, BUT.... Tombstone is different. Tombstone is awesome!!
"The Shootout at the O.K. Corral" is a famous event from the US Old West. In many ways, it defined the times and spoke to the end of those times, all at once. And just like any myth or legend, it grows in the telling. Early and Classic Western films portrayed the event in glorified ways that evolved with the telling. This film is of the more modern Western film era and comes much closer to historical accuracy in the setting and aesthetics. It still stretches and rewrites the story into compelling drama, and artistically pays some homage to earlier versions (or tries, depending upon the movie critic), so it remains accurately true in only its broadest generalities. If you think of the tone of the narrator from the beginning and end, and how he would sum up the movie, that would be true. Among the most accurate portraits of the Old West is Clint Eastwood's Unforgiven. It was once called the last Western, because it subverted Western movie tropes in favor of realism. And in so doing, the film showed a truer grit, which undermined the aesthetic of the entire Classic Western genre. Watch a few more Western films before you watch Unforgiven, Oscar Winner for Best Picture, 1992. I think you'll appreciate it more, and it's worth it. Clint Eastwood's work with Sergio Leone in The Man with No Name trilogy would be a good place to start. Silverado. Dances with Wolves. Little Big Man. Jeremiah Johnson. True Grit (even the modern remake), Open Range. The Last of the Mohicans. All great Westerns. My two cents.
This movie was based on actual events, and all the characters portrayed were actual people. Albeit, some dramatic license was taken. In fact, the nude pictures taken of Josephine Marcus, taken in Fly's Studio, can still be found on the internet today.

Real events like the Gunfight at the OK Corral. Wyatt Earp was never hit by a bullet.Wyatt Earp made a name for himself in Dodge City as a lawman. That's what he retired from. He was already a legend before moving to Tombstone.
This account of the Wyatt Earp saga is based on the biograpy WYATT EARP by Stuart Lake, 1931. Lake is the only biograper to actually interview, extensively, Wyatt Earp when Earp was working in Hollywood as an advisor for the old silent western films. It was during this time that John Wayne, the biggest western star ever, was just beginning his career. He met, and studied, Earp on the movie sets. Wayne later said that when he plays an authotitative character in a film, he imitates Earp. Also, the gunfight at the OK Corral in this film follows the coroner's inquest that followed the fight. And so, the combatants are placed where they were in the real fight, and they were killed in the film by the same characters as documented in the inquest. Even the Cowboys that fled the fight are accurate. Hollywood embelished with Doc's 5 shot double barreled shotgun and his two 'sixty shooters'. Something that the film doesn't reveal is that Sheriff John Behan was the Democratic Party boss in the area. The Cowboys were the muscle of the Democratic Party there and were also a criminal enterprise. That is why in the film they may seem to work for Behan. The US Marshal, Dake, that tried to hire Wyatt at the train station, was a Republican and the Governor of the territory was a Republican. After the murder of Morgan, the Governor issued warrants for many of the Cowboys to breakup there criminal organization, and, of course, Wyatt was deputized. That was the legal authority for his 'vendetta'. In response, Sheriff Behan got the County Court to issue warrants for Earp and his crew, to try to prevent the service of the federal warrants.
I was raised by a cowboy and I’ve been married to one for 40 years. This is really how they are. The world is very black and white to them. We raise horses and haul the grandkids to rodeo. It’s a great life.
It confusing because they are sheriff in the town, but the guy with the Derby hat was a Territory Marshall. Wyatt comes back as a U.S. Marshall. U.S. Marshalls are attached to federal Judges, and have jurisdiction anywhere in the U.S.
Tombstone is still there. Part of the old town is preserved (that is where the movie was shot) and you can still go into the Crystal Palace or Big Nosed Kate's saloons for a drink. A reenactment of the gunfight at the OK Corral is still done for tourists. Southern Arizona is extremely warm though.

I don't know the exact word for word translation of what Doc and Ringo said to each other in Latin in the saloon, but this was the general idea of what was being said. Wyatt: He's drunk. Doc (In Latin): There is truth in wine. (Meaning that when he drinks, he speaks the truth.) Ringo (In Latin): Do what you do best. Doc (In Latin): I don't think drinking is what I do best. Ringo (In Latin and touching his gun): Some people have to learn from experience. Doc (In Latin): Rest in peace. (Meaning it will be your funeral, Ringo).

I lived in Phoenix, about a 2 hour drive from Tombstone. Went to visit to see the big shootout at the O.K. Corrall. So yes, i got to walk those same streets
First let me say, I love his shirt, that is so beautiful, I am jealous and wish I had one like it. Now I can say that this is based on true events, yes there are many names to learn but none of the names are fictional, all of these people are real, of course many things were changed to make the movie more enjoyable but that is common in movies. Lived in Southern Az my whole life. Nowhere in the Senora Desert is beautiful. I thought only snowbirds thought that.

The town Martial is hired by the Mayor and the town Council.The town Marshal has jurisdiction within the town limits. The county Sheriff has jurisdiction throughout the county, including in the town. In practice the Sheriff lets the town law enforcement handle law violations in the town, and the Sheriff handles violations in the rest of the county, out of courtesy.

Wyatt was a real Sherrif and Doc was real person as well, he was a Dr but he got Consumption of the lungs and he was a heavy gambler. But these guys and Wyaats Brothers and the Cowboys were all real characters in life in the old west.
Val kilmers portrayal of Doc Holliday is considered by many to be the best portrayal of the legendary gambler and gunfighter ever .
Dennis Quaid did a good job in the movie Wyatt Earp, possibly more accurate. But this version is certainly more entertaining.

A great film indeed. The Cochise County Cowboys were a real entity that were dealt with by Wyatt and co. Before that they took losses after being ambushed by Mexican Rural police while smuggling rustled cattle across the border. Tombstone is quite a place to visit, we saw a reenactment of the fight and the weather was nice with monsoonal rains of August.
My friends live near where Johnny Ringo is buried. It's a beautiful area.
That was the incident that resulted in the killing of Old Man Clanton, Ike's father, who was somewhat of the ringleader of the organization before Curly Bill Brocous.

Why does no one ever react to this movie? It's the coolest cowboy movie every made.
The red-sash wearing "Cowboys" would be the equivalent of a lawless gang today. Some western towns adopted a no weapons within city limits rule in order to lessen the random violence and killings. Yes, they had gun control even then. This film is loosely based on historical events.
In many ways the conflict in Tombstone was a continuation of the American Civil War. Most of the "Cowboys" were former Confederates from southern states and politically supported the Democrat party. With the Confederacy defeated in war, economically destroyed and under military rule, many poor and landless young men headed west and lived by stealing cattle from Mexico and selling them in frontier towns. The Earps were Union veterans and Republicans who went west in search of economic opportunity and started businesses. The Cowboys were more popular with the townspeople because they brought in money and spent it freely but they were rowdy and dangerous. Some historians have basically said that both groups were gangs but one group had managed to acquire badges.
Even though not completely accurate, this is based on real characters and events. Doc Holiday was actually a dentist that contracted tuberculosis. He didn't want to die from it so he adopted a life of self-destruction and became a gunfighter thinking it would kill him. But he was so good he still died from the TB. The real Wyatt had been a law man among other things that were not so legal. There's been several movies regarding the gunfight at the OK Corral. One of the earliest is "My Darling Clemintine".
In the beginning, Doc took the stacks of money (didnt steal). There were poker chips on the table, and Doc knew they wouldnt cash him out so he took the cash to cover the poker chips.
Tombstone is an actually a real small town to this very day in the State of Arizona. It is a tourist town and they do reenactments of the gunfight at the OK Corral. Doc Holliday was a very educated and he was proficient in and received classical education in rhetoric, grammer, mathematics, history and languages - principally Latin, but some French and Ancient Greek at Valdosta Institute in Valdosta, Georgia. He left his home in 1870 at the age of 19 to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to become a dentist at Pennsylvania College of Dental Surgery. On March 1, 1872 at the age of 20 he graduated in Dentistry but he did not receive his degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery until he turned 21 five months later because at 21 was the legal age to practice dentistry. Doc Holliday's mother came down with tuberculosis and she died on September 16, 1866 and he had an adopted brother who died of the same disease. Which Doc Holliday also came down with and he couldn't practice dentistry any longer so he became a heavy drinker, smoker, gambler and gunfighter.
Wyatt Earp, Virgil and Morgan were brothers. Vigil was the older brother and Morgan the younger brother. And they became Marshals in the town of Tombstone, not sheriffs. John Beihan was the sheriff of the county. Even though Virgil was wounded and the loss of his use of his left arm he did become a sheriff in a town up in Northern California.
William Brocius, known as "Curly" Bill Brocius was not found guilty of shooting Marshal Fred White. Marshal Fred White lived for two days and he said he believed that when "Curly" Bill shot him it was accidently and not on purpose before he died.
The actual gunfight at the OK Corral only lasted 30 seconds. No more than that. Wyatt, Virgil and Morgan did go to trial for the gunfight at the OK Corral and charged for murder but they were aquitted, and not found guilty.
The gunfight at the river really happened and Wyatt was not shot or wounded.
The gunfight in the film between Doc Holliday and Johnny Ringo never really happened. Johnny Ringo was found dead by a gunshot wound under a tree and Doc Holliday was a suspect but Doc was some miles away in other town. Apparently Johnny Ringo committed suicide so it was ruled.
Doc Holliday died of tuberculosis on November 8, 1887 at the Hotel Glenwood Springs, Glenwood Springs, Colorado. He was only 36 years old.

All Spaghetti Westerns are by Italian writers, directors and producers and filmed in Italy and in Spain. Don't be afraid to use closed captioning so you get the names of people and places right. It can really help for some movies that have a lot of characters and places ... like this movie, or Harry Potter, or The Lord of the Rings.
Tombstone was still a tiny little Ghost town when I was a kid but now lots of people live there. They still have haunted history tours of the old town and things like that. It's fun. Small Arizona Ghost Towns are some of the best in the country.

Arizona was not yet a state, it was a territory. The small town had a town sheriff, a chief of police and a federal marshall, all contesting for power and had their supporters and detractors.

"Room Service" means ordering dinner from the hotel restaurant and having them bring it to you so you can eat it in your room. The idea here is that it's expensive and a little bit lazy, like a luxury, and it implies that you're travelling because you're in a hotel.

To this day in Tombstone, you can find supporters of BOTH sides, saying the Cowboys we're the good guys, while others say the Cowboys we're the bad guys. Coincidentally, Tombstone has their annual Hellderado Days in late October. The exact date slips my mind. I never attend. I'm typically working and I also have no desire to combat the parking problems and general overcrowded conditions for those few days. I love hanging out with you two. Its always fun to see people learn about historical events that are actually interesting. Wyatt Earp was a notoriously brutal law man from Dodge City, Kansas. He was so feared that criminals would warn other criminals to "get the hell out of Dodge". It is still a phrase that's used when you don't like a certain situation. I HATE western movies, BUT.... Tombstone is different. Tombstone is awesome!!
"The Shootout at the O.K. Corral" is a famous event from the US Old West. In many ways, it defined the times and spoke to the end of those times, all at once. And just like any myth or legend, it grows in the telling. Early and Classic Western films portrayed the event in glorified ways that evolved with the telling. This film is of the more modern Western film era and comes much closer to historical accuracy in the setting and aesthetics. It still stretches and rewrites the story into compelling drama, and artistically pays some homage to earlier versions (or tries, depending upon the movie critic), so it remains accurately true in only its broadest generalities. If you think of the tone of the narrator from the beginning and end, and how he would sum up the movie, that would be true.
Among the most accurate portraits of the Old West is Clint Eastwood's Unforgiven. It was once called the last Western, because it subverted Western movie tropes in favor of realism. And in so doing, the film showed a truer grit, which undermined the aesthetic of the entire Classic Western genre. Watch a few more Western films before you watch Unforgiven, Oscar Winner for Best Picture, 1992. I think you'll appreciate it more, and it's worth it.
Clint Eastwood's work with Sergio Leone in The Man with No Name trilogy would be a good place to start. Silverado. Dances with Wolves. Little Big Man. Jeremiah Johnson. True Grit (even the modern remake), Open Range. The Last of the Mohicans. All great Westerns.

This movie was based on actual events, and all the characters portrayed were actual people. Albeit, some dramatic license was taken. In fact, the nude pictures taken of Josephine Marcus, taken in Fly's Studio, can still be found on the internet today.

Real events like the Gunfight at the OK Corral. Wyatt Earp was never hit by a bullet.Wyatt Earp made a name for himself in Dodge City as a lawman. That's what he retired from. He was already a legend before moving to Tombstone.
This account of the Wyatt Earp saga is based on the biograpy WYATT EARP by Stuart Lake, 1931. Lake is the only biograper to actually interview, extensively, Wyatt Earp when Earp was working in Hollywood as an advisor for the old silent western films. It was during this time that John Wayne, the biggest western star ever, was just beginning his career. He met, and studied, Earp on the movie sets. Wayne later said that when he plays an authotitative character in a film, he imitates Earp.
Also, the gunfight at the OK Corral in this film follows the coroner's inquest that followed the fight. And so, the combatants are placed where they were in the real fight, and they were killed in the film by the same characters as documented in the inquest. Even the Cowboys that fled the fight are accurate. Hollywood embelished with Doc's 5 shot double barreled shotgun and his two 'sixty shooters'.
Something that the film doesn't reveal is that Sheriff John Behan was the Democratic Party boss in the area. The Cowboys were the muscle of the Democratic Party there and were also a criminal enterprise. That is why in the film they may seem to work for Behan. The US Marshal, Dake, that tried to hire Wyatt at the train station, was a Republican and the Governor of the territory was a Republican. After the murder of Morgan, the Governor issued warrants for many of the Cowboys to breakup there criminal organization, and, of course, Wyatt was deputized. That was the legal authority for his 'vendetta'. In response, Sheriff Behan got the County Court to issue warrants for Earp and his crew, to try to prevent the service of the federal warrants.
Historians generally agree that of all the re-tellings of this story on film, this one is the most accurate.
I was raised by a cowboy and I’ve been married to one for 40 years. This is really how they are. The world is very black and white to them. We raise horses and haul the grandkids to rodeo. It’s a great life.
It confusing because they are sheriff in the town, but the guy with the Derby hat was a Territory Marshall. Wyatt comes back as a U.S. Marshall. U.S. Marshalls are attached to federal Judges, and have jurisdiction anywhere in the U.S.

Tombstone is still there. Part of the old town is preserved (that is where the movie was shot) and you can still go into the Crystal Palace or Big Nosed Kate's saloons for a drink. A reenactment of the gunfight at the OK Corral is still done for tourists. Southern Arizona is extremely warm though.

I don't know the exact word for word translation of what Doc and Ringo said to each other in Latin in the saloon, but this was the general idea of what was being said.

Now I can say that this is based on true events, yes there are many names to learn but none of the names are fictional, all of these people are real, of course many things were changed to make the movie more enjoyable but that is common in movies. You are both wonderful people and I enjoyed the reaction.
