I had a recent shopper who was initially very nice, but when he delivered my order he told me that he had to take some items off of my order because maybe I didn't have enough money on my card. I knew my card was fine so it annoyed me, but I couldn't figure out why it happened. I've been an instacart shopper for years and never experienced this. Thanks for shedding light on the situation.
I had my first incident like that not too long ago and I was so embarrassed the customer had asked for an extra package of chicken but for some reason on my Instacart, I couldn’t add that they wanted two packs of chicken, every time I tried to add it as a new item it kept saying item already added 🤦🏾♀️so I just increased the poundage, which made it a lot more than what it was supposed to be so yeah, I was on the phone with customer support for like 20 minutes trying to get that order to go through😅. Thankfully the customer’s home wasn’t too far away and they were extremely patient and understanding and ended up increasing my tip for the trouble.
