Do you know if the other soundcore Q models ear pads will work on the 20s? I love the sound but I'm starting to get sore ears after a short time. The 30s look more comfortable.
I just want to clean mine put them in a tub of detergent to get the ear and hair oils out of the fabric. Would that break the pads? Also, can you put them back in if you took them out?
You can obviously remove and put back on the ear pads. You cannot take the leather and foam off and put it back on the plastic frame though. If you put PU leather into water with soap and soak them it will be damaged and the foam will absorb the soap and it won't have a way to get out. Best option is to remove the pads from the headphones and use alcohol wipes or soapy water to wipe them and then dry as soon as you are done.
You would have to buy ew pads. The pads are made by heat sealing at certain points. You cannot take the PU leather off and then install new PU leather. You end up destroying the whole pad. So, you need to buy news ones.

Hello, unfortunately the way the earcpads attach on the q20 is different to the q30 and Q45. So, they won't fit.

From what I see online the Q20 and Q20+ look exactly the same. I have not officially taken the Q20+ pads off though, but it looks the same.
