Most people who have hunted turkeys a lot are aware of all those things, but when it is broken down like that, I think it makes people go back and remember some things they may have taken for granted during previous hunts. That was well done.
So I’ve been an avid turkey hunter most of my life and this info is interesting. But I have personally seen them change head colors coming through the woods and not be nervous at all. The snood is and body poster is what I’ve always watched. Just from what I’ve experienced
Awesome thanks for the video and knowledge. They seem to be making a decent come back we are only allowed to shoot 2 here and the season starts really late mid April they was strutting gobbling and breeding 3 weeks ago
It's pretty awesome what you're able to do with your art. Being able to do it based on experience and not just looking at a picture or watching a video makes it even better.
Solid white head and waddles is the hottest a Turkey gets. I have seen them like this here in Georgia over the years and when they go solid White you can do no wrong with your calling.
I'd imagine all three of them were super hot and playing off of each other, which is why they were even gobbling on their own. Those birds are a gift from Heaven 😆

This is 100% spot on
Been turkey hunting over 30 years
Seen the wing clip many times but never until now knew what it meant or thought it meant anything.
Thank you
That's the cool thing about hunting isn't it? I feel like I learn something new every single season
Very informative. Well presented.
This is the coolest channel dude. Love what you're doing!

Wow. Thank you
Is it true that when a tom is about the breed or is breeding most of his head will be white?
Yes, and when they're ready to fight. Any time he's fired up that crown will be white

What about when his head is pure white? Had 3 come in together gobbling on their own and they were all white
Pure white, he’s pissed and ready to get fiesty…

Makes no matter to me anymore we have no more birds sadly
That first merriam didn’t have any spurs
Saw it too. Must have been a hen 😂
