The part that concerns me is that they let a double amputee get on the ride. I understand they didn't want to discriminate but I feel like safety should have been first.
Her condition as a double amputee should only have mattered when they do a safety check. It would be appropriate that they determine that she is properly restrained in the seat. Discrimination has nothing to do with it. There are usually height restrictions. I'd like to see the final report.
@@thatstheteasis4936 Throw a fit? A bit dramatic, maybe. Do you even know anybody in the amputee community? They are a very tolerant group that just want a chance to participate without unreasonable obstacles thrown in front of them.
Mark G yessir i do know and talk to people in the amputee committee. you act like all amputees are saints and will never do anything wrong. NEWSFLASH they’re are going to be some amputees who abuse their power and use it as a shield when they don’t get what they want, they whine! don’t you see those videos on youtube?! just saying that people, amputee or not, may throw fits or get mad and yell at the employees for not letting them on the ride 🤷🏻♀️

I don't know any amputees who abuse their power but I do know many people who are bigots against people who are different. When the amputees come up against the ignorant people and bigots, they may stand strong for their right to participate in life.
The workers did and didn't do anything Rong, they probably felt bad that she couldn't go on the ride. If it was me I would not let her. And she's a double amputee. THE RIDE SHOULDN'T BE CLOSED BECAUSE SOMEONE DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH BODY PARTS TO STAY IN THE COASTER WHEN IT MOVES.
Everyone in the comments is assuming that the ride operators *knew* this woman was a double amputee, but I’d like clarification on this. Was she wearing prosthetics? Were her prosthetics obvious, or did she perhaps have pants on making her disability less noticeable/unnoticeable to ride operators? If her disability wasn’t readily apparent, did she disclose her amputee status to park staff? These are factors that make a big difference in determining liability.
Not trying to discriminate, but why did they let her on in the first place? The El Loco safety restraints i.e the thing keeping you on the ride, is a lapbar. Maybe you shouldn't ride it if you don't have a lap? Just saying
Anyone know why people get tstuck on this ride occasionally, one time they had to step down the stairs in the middle of the ride. creepy as F! I've never experienced it in the maybe 40 times I rode this since I first went to this part 8.5 - 9 months ago.
They are starting an investigation to find out why a rollercoaster with lapbars throw out a women who doesn’t have a lap?
Idiots it’s crazy how stupid these people are. Obviously the operators fault for allowing her on. What is there to investigate

i’m pretty sure if they would have said no, the double amputee or any amputee in general would throw a fit and throw the discrimination card.

If they told her she couldn’t ride this would be instead a report on discrimination.
Yeah, it's stupid. It's for her safety, they should've told her no.
Why did they let her ride it? That thing is a hell of a ride for a person with all limbs!
That happened right after I left the place!! I feel so bad for the woman, but why would they let her on?

@@bigb3577 yes
I mean it was the workers fault and the lady cause she should’ve known not to get on a roller coaster and the workers shouldn’t of let her on
