Great video! Thanks for all the good info. QUICK QUESTION: When you ordered this, did you by chance upgrade it to the 5-watt LED bar? It's hella bright, most definitely! I was just curious about the light output's wattage. Most of their units that I've looked at come standard with 3-watt LED's, OR with the option to upgrade your light bar to the 5-watt LED's. Adding the extra 2-Watts of output was an add'l $49.95 but if what you installed was their standard 3-watt then I'm impressed! Very bright! And I'm with you ~ I don't really need or want it to be noticeable until it's activated. Great install you did btw. Very clean! Thanks again for the great video!
Awesome video. I'm actually doing the same thing. With the plate you made, did you have to drill all the way through the back rack? How did you go about that? I didn't want to get the back rack light bar mounts since it sits so high up.
Honestly I just used self tapping screws to mount the plate. I figured if they don’t hold I’ll come up with somthing different. So far no issues. The light don’t weigh hardly anything.
Wow the factory switches for RAm have way more features than my Ford.

Thanks, This is the upgraded 5w light bar. I get a lot of compliments on it. I’m super happy with my purchase.
Did you just cut the cigarette lighter plug off?
Yea I just cut it off and added the provided pigtail from ram to plug it into my accessory port.
