For anyone wondering why the "need foundation support" for ramps don't use the little pieces he used just use wooden foundations 2x2 and then keep the top portion. Uses more resources but it worked for me.
I just started playing a week ago and it's been an experience, joined an official server after watching the first 12 videos last night and I got a stone base down simple rifle built and my first dino tamed definitely couldn't have done it without your videos

I just started playing yesterday and i tamed a tiny dinosaur which was lvl 40 and i set him by accident to aggressive mode and he just went on a rampage and killed every single dinosaur that was in a 100 meter range close to him lmao
I learned a lot from this video, it was very entertaining to watch, one too I would give u on your editing is making the cuts a bit more tighter, like not leaving as long of a pause in between them, maybe even putting something in between the cut would make it even more funnier/cooler, other than that keep up the good work!

i just got the game free for 5th anniversery and like it very much. i couldnt get the ramps to work for the trap so i tore 1 side off and led him in from that side. still worked. my first death was from a bronto blowing me into the lake where i was chomped on by piranhas lol

As of writing this I just started a new solo world. it started pretty rough, my tiny peninsulas is infested with dilos but I've more or less delt with it, I'll be it, dying many times. Now the big problem is that at the "base" of the peninsula is a spino. idk why a spino spawned at the 1# easy spawn but it's there. It's far enough away that it hasn't bugged me yet but I'm afraid that won't last. Any tips?
What I try to do when I play if I can't find a high level, is to tame quickly a low level one to grind the berries then search and tame a higher-level one. This works if you have limited resources and limited time, and are not really in the safest of areas, jut be warned that your temporary tame can die very easily
I think playing ARK with a friend is like the best u can get coz then u have someone watching your back and you both help each others to survive. I like that kind of game. Btw there is a new game called Conan which is similar to ARK wonder if u got some guide for it too?
Thanks for the video. My tame was easier because the Triceratops was stuck in front of a little tree, and the little 6-foot cliff was behind him, so he couldn't go anywhere, LOL. So I kept shooting tranquilizer arrows at him. Then he was tamed a few minutes after that. He never broke down the tree, by the way
I can't get ramps to go down. When you place the ramps at about 12:08 I have the EXACT same setup buy my ramps always says "can't place ramp, requires nearby foundation support." Did they do a patch to the game so this structure is no longer buildable? It's driving me nuts, I've been trying for over an hour to get ramps to go down and even started from scratch and built a 2nd one and still same problem.
On Xbox I can't see my hud because it cuts off the edge of the screen. Tried everything but didn't work. Is there an in-game setting to fit to screen or something like that

Ryno Art my first tame was a dodo then I tamed a parasaur and got a saddle for it but then got raided which is why I only play PVE servers now

Works if you don't come prepared
You need to do the box out of stone ,thatch and wood are never gonna hold him.

Used only four trang on a lvl 49, and took about an hour or so to tame it with mejos and a few narcotics.
Also for yall who didnt know this
Narcoberries gives only 8 torpor and narcotic gives 50. Also, if you have bio toxin, use it, as it gives 80.

This helped I just got a lvl 41 trike wile watching it and it has a plus 17 taming affectivnice

Actually there is in options of the game if not its the tv
try changing the resolution

You have to change the hud in the game options, make it smaller until you can see it. Happened to me too.
