I grew up with this song as a kid and it always reminded me of my dad. U2 and Rush are his favorite bands. I'm 29 and will be 30 in March and I still have yet to find what I'm looking for. Battling with MDD, loss of loved ones and Aspergers syndrome hasn't been easy. Music is what's helping me get through it all. Thank you for making a cover of this song it means a lot to me 🥰❤
And that simply means that you have Consciousness and it is expressed in that act in which you dream of something that you have not yet found. I mean, all animal species only have one basic instruction: adapt to external circumstances and one's own biology to survive. . If they achieve that survival, and nothing immediately threatens it, they are calm. They would never say: "...and I still haven't found what I'm looking for." Because? My hypothesis is that our human consciousness questions reality, asks questions about the existential why and tries to discover the physical mechanisms that govern us, because it does not accept being a mere object controlled by those universal laws, but deep down it dreams of a ideal project that exceeds the pre-established order. And if you can't do it, you feel frustration, conflict, the need to resolve that situation of factual helplessness. Do you love some things and some people close to you? Then you dream of a sublime love that you have not yet known. That nonconformity will never be expressed in an AI programmed to obey orders. Does this approach aim to turn an empty glass into half full in the face of the shortcomings that our lives suffer? No. It is only a sincere recognition that if we are dissatisfied it is because within us lies an immanent potentiality that dreams of a better life for us. It is the essence of the overcoming spirit that makes us evolve and that over millions of years has brought us here. Obviously IMO. PS: I sense that when you wrote your comment you were not expecting such an extensive metaphysical response. But that's what there is! I don't apologize for it.
@@jasonscreationsunlimited4161 To be honest these cover groups are pretty much all awesome (First to Eleven ,Halocene ,Violet Orlandi etc) ,so i dont mind having the same song covered by multiple bands ,you get a different taste each time ,it's awesome ,and when they collab it's even greater.....
Um grande classico, de uma grande banda, que eu amo. Fazer cover do U2, foi simplesmente o maximo. Vocês como sempre arrasaram e mostram para o que vieram. Sou muito fã de vocês, parabéns a todos!!!! Saudações do Brasil!
I love watching these young, talented artists, only getting better and better, each time I check into their updates. It's CRAZY how good they are! BRAVO to you guys, you have the whole World ahead of you.❤
Outstanding job lady and gents. It's tough to cover U2 and have it still have that feeling like you're listening to the original, but y'all nailed it. Well done!
As usual Audra is amazing and can we give these musician some bang! Wow. Can't believe how spot on they are on every single First to Eleven cover. WOW!
This one affected my childhood, I remember when I was 10 years old... congratulations guys and thank you for reminding me of things that I had kept in my heart...
Yeah! Wonderful Irish Swim! Hopefully soon no one will be able to say about you guys that you were never in Ireland! And I also hope that you find there something of what you are looking for...
One of my favourites. Joshua Tree was probably my most listened-to album from the age of 15 through 18 or so. Still love it and every time I hear something from it it brings me right back and hits me right in the feels.
The Joshua Tree was the very first album I bought. It was a cassette tape! Your cover brings back memories of listening to it over and over until the batteries stated to die on my Walkman and the playback slowed down and eventually stopped.
I have climbed highest mountains I have run through the fields Only to be with you Only to be with you I have run I have crawled I have scaled these city walls These city walls Only to be with you But I still haven't found what I'm looking for But I still haven't found what I'm looking for I have kissed honey lips Felt the healing in her fingertips It burned like fire This burning desire I have spoke with the tongue of angels I have held the hand of a devil It was warm in the night I was cold as a stone But I still haven't found what I'm looking for But I still haven't found what I'm looking for I believe in the kingdom come Then all the colors will bleed into one Bleed into one But yes I'm still running You broke the bonds And you loosed the chains Carried the cross Of my shame Oh my shame You know I believe it But I still haven't found what I'm looking for But I still haven't found what I'm looking for But I still haven't found what I'm looking for But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
It’s always a miss and hit with you guys, this one you guys nailed it, the soul in your voice matches the tone, this song to me is a feeling of hope, of not knowing tomorrow but having that hope that tomorrow will be the day you finally find peace in the mystery of life
A great and well-sounding interpretation of this classical U2 one. Really excellent and this is one of my favourite versions. F2Eleven - great job done !!! Love this very much! 😍😍😍
There are better U2 songs but great cover! U2 is my guilty pleasure, my first big love into music at 9 years old and seen them 9 or 10 times live, wonderful band! Even named my first tomcat Bono and have a Gloria (great granddaughter of my Bono) now. Would not mind a heavier version of a U2 song but for now, happy :)
Holy shit! I can believe y’all performed this! U2 is my all time favorite band/classic rock band, and this is my favorite song of theirs! Y’all did phenomenal!!
To my ears it also sounds a little bit like a “country music” version with soulful and bluesy elements in it. You all master the entire musical spectrum. As always, a very great cover, in my opinion.
Perfect song for an autumn Sunday, U2 will always be the sound of this season between fall & winter, blood red skies & the darkening chill before the whiteout of the storms & blizzards & the new years dawning taking the horizon. You nailed this one like it was meant to be in the guitar tones, the rocksteady rhythm, & the passion in Aubra's voice. Falling harder with each video lately - Ghostbusters, The Cramps, Iron Maiden, U2, what's next, vintage R.E.M. from Chronic Town/Murmur/Reckoning/Fables/Life's Rich Pageant/Document? New Wave/Rockabilly/Power Pop or Classic Rock? Heavy/Power/Symphonic Metal? F211 could cover anything, you're angels on a holy roll, keep going & keep these insanely great covers coming! 🤘🤘💗🔥🖤🔥💗🎶💗🔥⚡💥✨🙏😊

No matter how many versions of this song is made it's still a good feeling song 1st to 11 covered this song beautifully

You're not alone mate!!!
I'm 34. I have, but she doesn't agree but fortunate enough to be happy with everything I do have.

Maybe she is right? 😂😂
I'd love to hear ya'll cover. Don't fear the reaper, by Blue Oyster Cult. That'd be sick!
One of my very favorite songs. I can only give you one upvote but so agree with you. :)
But would it have more cowbell?
It'd be tough to top Violet Orlandis cover, but I bet f211 could pull it off too!
@jasonscreationsunlimited4161 That one is pretty good. But I think Audras' voice would be better. Just my opinion, though.

Timeless band, timeless song. Thank you U2 and for the amazing cover.
This band is like a Chameleon ,they should cover Karma Chameleon lol

Please stay clean and together. You bring joy to so many just as you are now. Love drummer’s hair cut (I’m retired military).

As a lifelong U2 fan, you get my approval! Amazing job! Audra sounds fantastic here
Not a U2 fan really, but their music is part of my youth era soundtrack. That said, great job, & thanks for some memories just rehashed.
Also a lifelong U2 fan and solid performance, as usual!
they are so lucky to have your seal of approval
Seen the lads 3 times. First in the audience, second as security, third as a stagehand.
They never disappoint.:)
I was at the sphere opening night it was amazing = bonus Snoop Dogg and sir Paul were attending as well
Outstanding job lady and gents. It's tough to cover U2 and have it still have that feeling like you're listening to the original, but y'all nailed it. Well done!

Great U2 cover, Audra! Love it!!! Very cool! Great Band!

God bless this band and every person in the comments❤
How How HOW do you crush every cover!? This one is so great, among all the incredible ones you guys do
SUPER, Grandiose First To Eleven. ...LOVE This Band. ...😀👏👍❤
You nailed Larry's drum sound and rhythm. That's what holds down every U2 song. Nice job.
It's a nice choice song to cover.. I really enjoy it. First To Eleven never failed.
bands like yours keep the memories alive and vibrant
I'm glad I found this band!
Great job on this cover! Here's another good one by U2: "A Sort Of Homecoming" live version from around 1983 or so.
Great cover of a legendary song.
A beautiful cover of an epic song! Excellent performance and production! Bravo!! 🧙♂👏👏
OMG 🖤❤ my Dad possessed "Joshua Tree" as LP at home (always playing in early 90s as a child). Thank you, Audrey & Team, for this wonderful moment 🤝💕🦅
It's so and so good !! Thanks to all of you ! It's a good period Queen, Adèle, U2 !!! Excellent !!!
Wow. U2 was the first band I fell in love with when I was a kid, this truly was a special cover! 🤍
This is what would have happened if U2 wasn't an Irish band but American. Great cover!
You sing like an angel...
Omg I got goosebumps listening to this! Well done!!!
One of my favourites. Joshua Tree was probably my most listened-to album from the age of 15 through 18 or so. Still love it and every time I hear something from it it brings me right back and hits me right in the feels.
Great cover and music video, as always!!! Love y'all!!!
Your hauntingly beautiful voice makes your rendition of this song epic.
Jesus is the answer of everything
Amazing Job. You guys make every cover sound so good.❤

I have scaled these city walls
These city walls
Only to be with you
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
I have kissed honey lips
Felt the healing in her fingertips
It burned like fire
This burning desire
I have spoke with the tongue of angels
I have held the hand of a devil
It was warm in the night
I was cold as a stone
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
I believe in the kingdom come
Then all the colors will bleed into one
Bleed into one
But yes I'm still running
You broke the bonds
And you loosed the chains
Carried the cross
Of my shame
Oh my shame
You know I believe it
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for

Die hard U2 fans are the most critical of those who try to cover their songs. Not very many pull it off well. very nice job :)

Really good. Well done everyone!
Continuing the Irish theme, how about covering "Breathless" by The Corrs or "Book of days" by Enya?
U2 😊👍👍👏👏👏
Even before Audra opened her mouth and sang, y'all were nailing it.
