This bowl of chicken soup seemed to take much longer to make than the kind you can eat (but it was still quite comforting 😜). Many thanks to this video's sponsor, visit www.birchliving.com/withwendy to get $400 off your Birch mattress plus two free pillows! My best days definitely start with a good night's sleep so thank you Birch for giving us many well-rested memories #BirchLiving

I have to say, I am SO glad you had a daughter. Sewing for a boy is probably just as fun, but the fact that you can easily make a matching mini dress for her is absolutely perfect for you! Even better, you've inspired me to jump in and make that new summer dress I've been dreaming about for a while now, so thank you so very much for the video and the inspiration! I'm so happy you're able to find bits of time in your chaotic life to film for us, because we adore you. Much love from Pennsylvania to you and your beautiful family. 🫂❤️

Not sure if it's been mentioned here but for the rolled hem presser foot I found that sewing a few stitches in before wiggling the fabric inside the tiny ledge in the foot works for me! There's definitely a learning curve but saves you a ton of time once you get used to it!

My mom sewed a lot but actually preferred to crotched stuff for my plush toys. Didn't play with dolls much but my first plush dog still has a hand crotched body suit to protect her from my love. 😂 She had a few different ones over the years but the last one is red and black stripes as those colors were left over from something else she did.

Wendy! Hey Friend! Today was laundry day and I was dressing my bed. I have a platform bed with only a mattress but my fitted sheet is made for a standard depth mattress. My machine is right near the bed (studio apartment) so I pulled it out to sew a couple of strategic straight stitches in hopes of keeping the sheet from working its way off. Pull out the phone to select music to work by and see you at the top of my feed. Yayyyyyyy! Check the time stamp to discover the video was posted seven hours ago today. Double yayyyyyy!! Decided to let you be my music but my machine was too loud to hear you and I was distracted watching so I gave up, grabbed chips & salsa and watched you and Marla. So good to see you both. The dresses are adorable, I smiled the whole vid through. You using bed sheets as I am working on my bed sheet. I’d say that was wonderful serendipity! 😊 (OK, back to the machine…)
