Same. It always makes me think of our mortality. Families can wither down to only a few members, with nobody else in their lives. Perhaps there were children who fell on dark days and are sitting in prison while everyone they knew and loved passed on...nobody else remaining to care about what was left behind. Many possible scenarios, some more dramatic than others, but scenes like this can certainly make one contemplate life and time.
Abandoned buildings rock my friends. Used to do a lot of urban exploration and love it. Wouldn't be upset if you put similar videos into the mix more often 👍
I love your site, and your energy while exploring!!! It reminds me of my brother and I going through a massive culvert and those much smaller drainage pipes under gravel roads. I get that intense fear as you keep going but, at the same time, so glad you do!!!.
The one surviving house looked like it was built with reclaimed lumber. You could see in the basement. It had a Great Depression era look to it, right down to the furniture.
A change of pace 👍on a beautiful sunny day ! ! Didn't get much sleep living next to that noisy highway ! Looking forward to the next adventure , thanks Phil stay safe !!
In the house that was still intact there's still a lot of stuff in there that could be salvaged and there's some nice old furniture in there too couple of those cabinets could be worth some money
Those dolls are an absolute HELL NO for me. LOL I love watching the videos of abandoned homes. It always amazes me when they leave everything behind. You always question why. I would worry about the homeless being inside. Never know what you might run into.
That was nice of you to close the doors so the bugs don't get in! If that's 11 I wouldn't be surprised? Lower end of the valley? I used to take that route instead of the boredom of 81.
If you find paint cans, especially if they are in a bag, and gold paint, it usually means someone has been sniffing paint to get high. A Denver Police officer told me that, long ago when I lived in Denver. It totally destroys the brain cells, and does terrible damage to other body parts. For some reason, paint sniffers prefer gold paint. I like watching these videos, but it's sad when you see peoples lives left to rot. Old family pictures, dishes, etrc.
They left some really nice furniture behind. I can kind of understand why they haven't been torn down, it would be a nightmare trying to get equipment into that area to do the job.
The amazing thing is that these rotted junk strew empty shells look "omg terrible" until you see the same items neatly arranged at an antiques market at many to many-many dollars each. The last time I saw those picture frames, empty in unrestored condition they were going for 100$ each.
I could smell the old char scent while watching you wall through the burnt areas. In the cellar with the double doors I said, "I think all the ghosts have left. No more interest in protecting what's gone. " And then I heard an old guy say, "nope. It's heavy on my heart. " He says he waits around down in the cellar because he has too make some things right, but everyone left, so he doesn't know how he's going to do anything. This happens to me sometimes while watching these.
Hey bud I just want to say hey nice video it's a change for once that wouldn't have seen abandoned house that's pretty cool but this has been in the house did you happen to see that antique hutch that is worth money the Hutchinson's in the kitchen there only thing left that's complete next to the refrigerator that thing is worth money that brown hutch
It's a shame that the old train station just down the road from this place was demolished as that was pretty interesting too. Though there's also that mine disaster site nearby that you could explore. There's a handful of buildings still standing and I believe that the one chimney looking thing next to the one buildings steps is actually an old air shaft.
And an expensive one at that ! Those Cadillac Allante were between 50k and 60k from 1987 through 1993. That color was even more rare to see on it as well.
Are you allowed to salvage furniture from those places? I would’ve grabbed the wooden cabinet in the kitchen ( maybe the table) and the head board in the bedroom. The furniture looked as though it was nice at one time. You could restore it.😢I wish I had someone to go salvage old stuff with me.
Bro @3:05 you walked past a game boy lol.. sitting at the window . From the looks of everything was probably abandoned in the early 90s . Everything else looks to be from the 70s and 80s
@@Machariakasian noise from highway? Man I moved from a town called hatboro Pennsylvania with the septa trains running behind our house 6 times an hour plus moving to coastal South Carolina gotta just love hearing fireworks 24/7 and live bands playing sometimes to 2 AM. Their is almost always some type of noise going on somewhere 🤣
Its not hard to figure out, the mills close, mine closes. old people live there with no family to speak of, they died and people just destroyed them looking for something of value
I take that back Phil I happen to look at the at the video but as you're going through that hutch that's that's impressed me with her that's a fake one that's a want to be one I'm sorry I thought it was real first my fault no wonder he left it behind it's a fake hutch
I love seeing old homes but they also makes me sad to see old pictures left behind...those are memories

Sad. Those homes were once somebodies dream
A nice explore and a change from mines. You should do more of them maybe abandoned train tunnels and subways.😁😁😁😁
@9:06 bittersweet rolling up on that decades old weather worn flag that was holding on there battling the elements. 🇺🇸 Enjoyed the vid !

Whey hey above ground! Though it can be just as dangerous above as below! Stay safe out there buddy!
Loved that dining room table. I enjoyed this find. No adrenaline flowing for a change.
That Home Alone bit was funny af!
I'm a native Pennsylvanian- I never knew there were so many things to explore here. Thanks for taking us along!
Nice change of pace! Great video!

I like that cupboard at the six minute mark
Me too. I think the headboard in the bedroom could’ve been saved too
The home alone impression was so on point it was incredible😂
PA has a bunch of places like this. Nice to see some regular urbex.
Betting the area has some decent geocache hides.
Weirdest mine ever; I didn't see anything even resembling a coal vein ;) Thanks for the cool & creepy video!
Good video is not worth dying for. Keep safe, my friend 🇬🇧..
The basement was reasonably protected from the elements until you left the doors open. 😯
I like the abandoned house explores as well. 😎👍
Nice to see you out and about above ground. Same inquisitive approach but different archeological context. (abandoned homes).
In the house that was still intact there's still a lot of stuff in there that could be salvaged and there's some nice old furniture in there too couple of those cabinets could be worth some money
Loving the layouts of these houses; looks so cozy!!! Other than the busy road, the location is cool too. Too bad it got left to weather and decay.

Yes agreed, walking dead vibes! pA amazing state for exploring above & below ground. ❤
Lived for a while near Norristown PA and used to see a lot of really old abandoned houses off of the Schuylkill Expy.
always wondered what was up there, pass it all the time. Be safe guy
The road noise would make anyone move 🎉🎉
Loved the wood doors , bathtub and sink. Bet it was beautiful in it's day
I like the abandoned building content. Very mysterious. Makes you wonder what happened there
Feel like I've passed this place a hundred times too, or a similar place. Always associated it with "Children shouldn't play with dead things"
Great video. 👍🏻
All the cans of spray paint is from huffing...they huff the paint in paper bags
Holy antiques. I hope people don't let all that stuff just sit and rot. Bring it home clean it up and give it all live once again
That’s what I was saying. I’d love to refurbish the wood furniture
That was nice of you to close the doors so the bugs don't get in! If that's 11 I wouldn't be surprised? Lower end of the valley? I used to take that route instead of the boredom of 81.
New explore 4 U, I love it, URTHEBEST...............
The person living in the garage was probably huffing that paint
Love exploring old houses
Please consider doing this more often I love seeing abandoned buildings, I enjoy your tunnels and mines but a little break and doing this more often.
awesome adventure as usual ..

8:52 looks like a laundry room
was that a Cadillac Allante ????
Those rotting wood floors are more hazardous than abandoned coal mine tunnels.
What a shame, they were once someones pride and joy the banks probably threw them out.
$850mo...no pets.
😂
The hutch that you opened up and you're checking out the books that hutch is worth money
Watch the boogie Man doesn't get you.
I can smell these videos

Philadelphia, empty spray paint cans, no graffiti.... I think Charlie Kelly was living there!
This looks like RT 11 near west Nanticoke Pa
Dammit I was going to do this one too, but fair is fair, U got to it before me, it is all GOOD!!!!
Somebody did go through everything!.. but not that suitcase sitting in the attic!..ya got to check that out!..🤔
Looks like a place where you might trip over a body😮🤪💩💀😂😂
Thought the place looked familiar...sure enough, JPVideos was there. When are you guys going to do a colab?
Have a nice day stay safe and good health! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You wonder who lived there 😮 were they nasty or nice 😁 now it's just the ghosts😮😅
I’ve been thought a few abandoned houses like those. Always found them interesting. I’ve ran into a raccoon. While doing what you were doing.
Do grave yards next
KOOL !!!
At least this is a little safer than exploring 1,000' underground 🤔
Could you imagine what you would find if you had a metal detector
basically if you homeless look for these places and rebild stop living in cities sidewalks.
Wonder why their was so many in a row abandoned?
