Honolulu city lights, going up the mountainside - honestly, that was the most magical thing I remember seeing the first time I came to Hawaii in the 70's. And the song, by Keolo Beamer, still makes me cry every time I play it.

Ala Moana beach is 1.2 miles from here. Great restaurants! Walk to post office, Queens hospital, China town shopping. I’m a 66 year old woman and walk my dog at ten pm with little concern. I love living in downtown.

I work in the Pacific Guardian Center right next door. This is a great start and location in Honolulu's repurposing of existing space. My only concern is how long before the area is actually revitalized and it's safe to venture out after 06:00PM everyday.

13:50 I'm wondering what the monthly maintenance, association, etc. fees would be. I live in Ewa Beach and my condo's maintenance fee is now $250. Was $105 thirty years ago.

This is what I dislike about big buildings in downtown, most of them do not have sliding windows for air flow and no lanai.

Walls prob not. I asked about painting the w ceiling which will be exposed cement and they said probably but it isn’t written yet.
